Q: 1. Does this come with stereoscopic (red and blue) paper glasses or do I need to buy some separately?

A: The book does not list that it comes with any glasses.

A: yes, bottom portion of bag is padded.

Q: 3. How forgiving is the scanner to irregularity of the manual scanning by hand?

A: The scanner is made for "hand scanning" and is very "forgiving".

Q: 4. What are the differences between this swatch set and the digital art swatch set? The digital art swatch set doesn't seem to be labeled with what's included. If I'm wanting to make L.E. prints of my painted artwork (watercolor, soft pastel, etc.) which swatch set is recommended?

A: The paper in this swatch-book are basic RC papers compatible to the basic Epson or Canon RC papers. The Fine-Art swatch-book B&H # HA1064HA1096 has all the Hahnemuhle fancy papers. it's definitely worth investing the few bucks in these swatches so you get to know the expensive papers for a minimal fee.

Q: 5. How many times can one use these blotters?

A: Used properly, and allowed to dry between uses, you can use them for years.

Q: 6. What's the size of the internal divider for this bag?

A: This bag comes with 2 dividers-13.0" x 9.1" x 0.6" each.

Q: 7. is there any cropping? for example scanning photos or smaller page size? Or does everything scan to 8.5 x 11 and you need to crop it later?

A: All scans are 8.5 inches wide but the length can be shorter than 11 inches just by scanning a smaller section of the page. If you need to crop the 8.5 inch side that can be done later in a computer.

Q: 8. How do I get this in audio format?

A: The Amphoto Book: Understanding Exposure, 4th Edition: How to Shoot Great Photographs with Any Camera is not available in audio format.

Q: 9. Does this book cover off-camera flash photography or just on-camera flash?

A: I have this book. From what I can make out (it is so detailed and verbose, almost too much so), most of it refers to understanding on-camera flash and manual modes, though some of it may be applicable to off-camera flash. There is a very small section for off-camera flash. I personally haven't used this book much after I bought it.

Q: 10. Is this hardcover or paperback?

A: The Amphoto Book: Gregory Heisler: 50 Portraits: Stories and Techniques from a Photographer's Photographer (BH #AMGH50P) is a hardcover book.
