Merging the sound quality of the rackmount Symphony I/O Mk II with the simplicity of the Duet and Quartet, the Apogee Electronics Symphony Desktop offers musicians and producers premium Apogee fidelity, flexible I/O, and powerful plug-in processing in a travel-friendly form factor.

With emulations of vintage British and American mic preamps, DSP/native Apogee FX plug-ins, and multiple zero-latency plug-in workflows, the Symphony Desktop puts you in complete control of your tone. Thanks to its color touchscreen and large control knob, the Symphony Desktop provides easy operation and comprehensive visual feedback.

Record mic-, line-, or instrument-level signals through the variable-impedance, high-gain preamps and use the monitor outputs and assignable headphone jacks for listening to the main mix or an alternate source. Expand your setup by connecting external digital equipment to the optical TOSLINK ports, which support 8-channel ADAT or 2-channel S/PDIF protocols.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can this device when connected to an ipad with Logic Pro, open two seperate channels for recording at the same time?

A: Yes. The Apogee Electronics BOOM 2x2 Desktop USB Type-C Audio Interface has two channels of input and two channels of output. Two separate channels of audio can be recorded at the same time.

Q: 2. What's the release date?

A: These are available for pre-order now. At the moment we do not have a specific ETA for arrival time.

Q: 3. Hey! This product is new? Or it's has been used before?

A: The Antelope Zen Q Synergy Core Desktop 14x10 USB Type-C Audio Interface is brand new.

Q: 4. Can you please tell the dimension and weight of package?

A: The shipping box for the Antelope Zen Q Synergy Core Desktop 14x10 USB Type-C Audio Interface is approximately 10.3 x 8.2 x 3.9" and it weighs about 2.6 pounds.

Q: 5. Headphone out max impedance please?

A: Per Apogee: Headphone Output: 1 stereo 1/4″ headphone output on front panel THD+N: -110dB @19dBu into 600 Ohm (=80mW) -101dB @14dBu into 32 Ohm (=470mW) Dynamic Range: 121db A weighted Output: Apogee’s proprietary Constant Current Drive™ provides smooth frequency response with any headphones

Q: 6. To clarify, can I use this to output sound to speaker monitors? Second, will will it work with an Apple laptop M1 Pro?

A: Yes the Apogee Duet 3 comes with a breakout cable to connect to active monitors and yes it is compatible with Apple Macbook M1 Pro models.

Q: 7. I assume this would hookup to an iPAD, but my question is would it supply power to an iPAD also?

A: No

Q: 8. Hi guys, will this one multi-track out the USB? Thanks!

A: The AIR 192|14 will output four channels of audio via USB.

Q: 9. Looking for an audio interface to control the amount of latency up to 3 seconds of delay. Idea king it would be an audio to usb interface with a delay knob?

A: If you are trying to control the round trip latency of a source connected an interface- going through a DAW- and back to your headphones, you would need to adjust that in the buffer settings of the DAW you're recording into. If you are experiencing latency or "sync issues" between audio and video of a live stream, then you would need to adjust the Input Delay in the streaming software being used. (ie OBS, LiveStream Studio, etc.)

Q: 10. Is this compatible with iOS devices like iPad Pro? Provide you use the included power adapter?

A: The M-Audio AIR | Hub Desktop USB Monitoring Interface with Built-In USB Hub does not specify compatibility between its host USB Type-C connection and mobile devices such as the iPad Pro. In theory, the iPad could interface with one of the onboard USB Type-A hub connections on the front of the unit.

I tried the Audient iD4 MKII but it lacked any expandability that the iD14 MK II has - The ADAT allows you to upgrade with 8 more audio interfaces. Nice clean sound as the output. Everything you want and so much more.

I used to have the ID22 but it went out on me so I replaced it with the ID14. It's perfect for live broadcasts if you're not using a mixer board. Having the ability to create a Talkback button on it was exactly what we needed.

Very nice, full sounding preamps. The unit feels well made. Honestly I feel like the next logical upgrade from this Audient id14 mkii interface would be — of course the next class up in price and performace — the RME Fireface. The Audient interface pairs nicely with my Focal Alpha 65 Evo monitors. Be sure to register your Audient audio interface for the incredible included software!

I was previously using an AudioBox USB96 and do Voice Over work thus creating a bit of Post Editing to reduce the noise created. I had heard that Audient line ADC chip is the same type as much more costly Audient Hardware and all I needed was a single mic input. Fantastic being able to get the quality without having to buy hardware with many other options I didn't need. It has been a great piece of kit and the only gripe is getting it recognized and working with my Mac OS. This may be because Monterey is having issues with USB C connections. Highly recommend!
