I did not realize that the Neutrik NL2FC was discontinued for some reason or another, but these connectors replaced them perfectly. They will take a heavy 12ga cable. The only problem now is they all look alike where the original 2 conductor connector had a specific look to differentiate from the others in the Neutrik catalog. 5

I always wonder why we need another type of speaker connector besides the common spade and banana ones. This is my first time to use speakON and now I know why. Given the low impedance (4 or 8 ohms) of speakers, any reduction of resistance of wires and connectors would help. As for build quality, Neutrik is always the best you can find. 5
