Upgraded from an ix500 that died. Newer software works well, auto naming is nice. Amazingly fast and easy setup.

We have a massive amount of files for different food products we sell. Once I got it set up, I can push one button and have any documents sent to a shared folder on dropbox for all of our sales people to distribute as needed. Works perfect and a perfect solution for organizing specs. of different products.

Probably the only complaint I would have is Fujitsu changed the software from prior models and now I can't choose Simplex or Duplex scanning from my task bar.

I was reticent to spend over $400 on a scanner, especially for my relatively low-volume usage. But compared to using my flatbed scanner for basic document scanning, this is SO much better. I elected NOT to install ScanSnap Home, and instead installed the legacy ScanSnap Manager. I suppose you can use both, but I actually prefer more direct control of the scan settings that Manager provides. Plus, Manager is proven software, and Home is fairly new.

I considered purchasing a Fujitsu ScanSnap for several years. I wish I purchased one earlier! For me, it is totally worth the money. It is compact and quiet and scans incredibly quickly. I love that it is a double-sided scanner. I have a portable scanner that does one-sided scanning only, which has led me to miss a page or two in long, double-sided documents. I almost didn't buy this scanner because of some negative reviews about how difficult it is to set up. It isn't that difficult, but it does take a little bit of time to download the software and link the scanner to your online accounts, such as Dropbox and Evernote, where you want scans to be sent. It is a great product that would benefit any home office. Highly recommend.

This is the best portable scanner on the market. It scans very accurately, and very quickly. This is the best for when I am on the go and need to scan stacks of paperwork on job sites with minimal time. I highly recommend to anyone in the market for just a scanner, even if this is not being used to travel it works great as my scanner when I am in the office as well. 5/5 would recommend

Fujitsu makes THE best scanners on the market. They are simple to use and are incredibly durable. Our two previously purchased models are still in use and work as well as the first day we put them into service.


The price is also a huge plus. A value purchase from every perspective!

Made my life much easier.

I scan about 9,000 documents per year and the speed of the iX1600 will cut down my scan time. I also have the iX500 and it's still works great after 5 years but it's slower. I also love the touch screen.
