The black Retrospective Backpack 15L from Think Tank Photo is a soft canvas bag with a retro style designed to mold and contour to your body for comfort while backpacking through rough terrain or on a cross-country adventure.

The main compartment holds a camera kit and has dividers that can be adjusted to accommodate different setups. All your camera equipment is accessible through the backpack's rear or top panels, and the dedicated laptop pocket will hold most 15" laptops.

The 5-liter top compartment can be used to store personal articles, and additional space in the front organizer pocket holds your wallet, smartphone, or pens. The wide comfortable backpack straps have an adjustable sternum strap, and a removable webbing waist belt to take some of the weight off your shoulders.

The exterior of the bag is equipped with accessory straps that are compatible with Think Tank's modular pouches, and collapsible pockets on each side of the bag hold a water bottle or a tripod. The canvas of the bag has been treated with DWR to repel water, and a rain cover is included for those days when there is a heavy downpour.

This is one of the best investment I have made in selecting items to carry photography gear. I have use this backpack twice; in a full day at Botanical Garden, and on an eight mile photo-walk in the forest. It is very comfortable and spaces to carry all of the gear I desired. 18 members on the photo-walk complimented me on the selection and a few immediately when online to research. I am well pleased with this bag!! I own many of Think Tank Photo products, and B&H Photo is my go to store!

I've been using a Retrospective over the shoulder bag for ten years. But as I get older (I'm over 70), the weight on one shoulder was getting uncomfortable. This backpack makes traveling with my equipment more comfortable and all are still easily accessible. I love the material of the Retrospective series. Plenty of straps and connectors for versatility.

I bought this to replace a25+ year old Tamrac backpack. The size of the old Tamrac was perfect for me which is why I kept it for so long. The Think Tank is nearly a perfect replacement size but so much better thought out. Everything just seems to fit like is was made for it!

I got this backpack for a specific purpose: to carry the RF800mm f11 lens attached to a body. It just fits. In addition you can also fit three other smaller lenses (e.g. the standard RF f4 zooms). Solid construction. Fits a 15 laptop. Two large external pockets for water bottle, tripod, etc.

I love this bag!! There are so many different ways to pack your gear in it. The accessory straps are the best. You can use them to secure just about anything. The large side pockets give you quick access to anything you need while keeping it secure. I like that the webbing waist belt is removable. Having a fully loaded bag with a 200 to 500, 105 macro lens 2 body, and a tripod, the bags can get heavy on a long day of hiking and shooting. The bag has Comfortable straps, and I love the adjustable sternum strap. Not only are all the straps adjustable, but they tuck away neatly. LOVE this bag

I've owned a lot of camera backpacks over the years. I needed something that could hold a lot of camera gear, with room for some personal stuff for Airline carry-on. This would seem to fit the bill. Very versatile for hikes as well as air travel. The only downside it the weight of the bag is a little more than you are going to have with an all synthetic material bag.

Well made ,not overly large, Top flap can be a little difficult to use zipper because there is no stiffness to flap or bag. It fits my needs for carrying a light set up.
