Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. A client wants to know about this paper's longevity? What can I tell him?

A: As with most good quality fine art inkjet papers, their archival longevity typically exceeds 30 years. In some of Hahnemuhle's products, the lifespan of a print can be upwards of 200 years. While we couldn't find any archival testing results from them on the Matt Fiber Duo, proper use-case will ensure your prints will last many, many years. For best results, please follow typical archival guidelines, and see Hahnemuhle's website on longevity here: https://www.hahnemuehle.com/en/digital-fineart/longevity.html

Q: 2. How accurate is the white and is there a color shift regardless of printer?

A: The Photo Luster 290 Inkjet is 110% white and the image will fade over time, unless using a glaze that rejects UV light.

Q: 3. Would this be appropriate paper to use with the Canon PIXMA iP8720?

A: Most of the papers will not work. The printer cannot handle papers that weight more than 200 GSM.

A: The Canson Infinity Rag Photographique Duo Paper is short grain.

Q: 5. does this paper have optical whiteners/brighteners?

A: Hello,No. This paper is free of optical brightening agents. It is designed for artists and photographers using inkjet technology. It is a very very great paper, top quality. I have made over 100 Black and white photos with this one and the results are beautiful. I hope this answer will be helpul for you. Happy Holidays! Bernard, from Qubec, Canada

A: The Moab Juniper Baryta Rag 305 Paper features a 100% cotton fiber base and no optical brightening agents for maximum longevity. Yes, this paper is archival.

Q: 8. Is it long-grained or short-grained?

A: You can find the ICC profiles on Hahnemuhle's website at this link:http://www.hahnemuehle.com/en/digital-fineart/icc-profiles.htmlThere is a drop down menu that allows you to select your printer brand, model and the paper type.
