Mount your DJI Ronin, Ronin-M, or Ronin-MX onto any Mitchell base with this Mitchell Collar & Castle Nut with DJI Ronin/M/MX Quick Release Mount from Proaim. The Mitchell collar features a castle nut to facilitate mounting the quick release mount, and the gimbal can then be mounted onto any Mitchell base. The Ronin mount is made from durable aluminum and the Mitchell collar and nut are made from stainless steel.

Q: 1. Will this work on the RS3 Pro?

A: Yes, The RS2 plate is the same design and would work with the new RS3 gimbals.

A: It will not.

Q: 3. Does this fit the original Ronin (1)?

A: No it does not. The Ronin M/MX does not have the same quick release mount as the original Ronin.

Q: 4. Has anyone tried this on a Crane 2S plate?

A: Although technically the SmallRig Extended Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2/Ronin-S Gimbals, fits on the quick release on the Zhiyun Crane 2S, there are positioning pins on the plate that get in the way and do not allow the plate to extend as far as intended, when used with the Crane 2S.

Q: 5. Is this compatible with a standard Manfrotto tripod as well? I'd like to be able to hot swap between my ronin and tripod without changing all the plates every time.

A: No. The following plate is made and designed for the DJI RS 2 or Ronin-S handheld gimbal stabilizer.

Q: 6. Will this work with ronin mx?

A: This plate is for the larger, original Ronin and may not work with the Ronin MX. The Ronin MX was only just announced at NAB in Las Vegas so all of the compatibility details are not yet known. Please keep an eye on our website for updates and details as they become available.

Q: 7. It says in the description "Standard Mitchell Castle Nut Threading" I bought another Proaim product and it is NOT - is this?

A: Proaim does state that the Proaim Mitchell Male Mount with Castle Nut for Vibration Isolator is a standard Mitchell Castle Nut threading and so should be compatible; however we recommend using this item with other Proaim products for best compatibility.

Q: 8. will this work on a scorp c gimbal ?

A: TheSmallRig Extended Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2/Ronin-S Gimbals would not be compatible with the Feiyu SCORP-C.

Q: 9. Does this work with the Ronin-MX as well?

A: Just got off the phone with DJI. Guy on the line successfully attached the same handlebars to both the Ronin M and MX. He also said they are identical. So I'd say yes, it'll work. Placing my order today. Will do my best to come back and tell u how it went!
