A: The background kits are very similar and they actually have the same specifications.With the quality of each they are also very similar. So for price I would go with the Impact brand.The green background can be used for regular photography or video but it is also good for Green screen. Chroma Key (green screen) is used when you need to replace the background with a digital background. That process is done in post after the shot is taken.

A: To fold the Impact Collapsible Background (Chroma Green, 8 x 10') hold opposite edges of the backdrop keeping it vertical in front of you. Then pull the frame in an upward motion making a taco like shape. Simultaneously twist one edge down and towards the center while pulling the opposite edge up and inward. At this point the frame will bend into a figure-eight shape. Continue twisting and gently lay the two overlapping circles onto each other.
