The cocoa Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and 3.5mm Locking Connector for Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom Portable Recorders is a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.
The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.
The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Olympus, Roland, Sony, Tascam, Yamaha, or Zoom DM-420, DM-520, DM-620, DS-2400, DS-40, DS-51, DS-61, DS-71, LS-10, LS-14, R05, R09HR, PCM-D50, PCM-M10, DR-05, DR-07mkII, DR-08, PR-10, Pocketrak C24, Pocketrak W24, H1, H2, and H2n portable recorders.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.
The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.
The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.
The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.
Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 4. Frequency range and frequency response are...unpublished? I'd really appreciate info/ comment about these characteristics - what are the pros/cons, using the Roland CM-30 Cube as studio monitor(s)? Are they flat? & will I need a separate sub?
A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not list those specifications. The Roland CM-30 was designed with the traveling musician in mind, and not the studio engineer necessarily, though in a pinch, it can be used for monitoring in the studio. You would be better served with a pair of JBL LSR 305's nonetheless; B&H# JBLSR305. With the use of two monitors, one can have a better stereo image of a stereo mix. The use of a sub is optional and not necessary; though having one is good for reference.
Q: 5. How many volts is the battery?
A: The voltage is 7.4V.
Q: 6. How do i hook it a MOLT BOX at a press conference not box? I have the attachment plug. I tried it at a recent venue and it recorded just sounded like in a can, what did I do wring?? help
A: If you are referring to a MULT box, then be sure it is adjusted for LINE or Microphone output. Also be sure that the recorder's 3.5mm mic/line stereo input is adjusted as well. You may need a different connector/adapter/cable as well.

A: if it is very good the truth I recommend it
Q: 9. Can I plug this into my iPhone to record onto my phone?
A: The Olympus ME34 Compact Zoom Microphone (B&H # OLME34) cannot record directly into an iPhone. This mic has a 3.5mm TRS connector, and you would need a 3.5mm TRRS, Lightning, or USB-C connector to record directly to your iPhone. You could use something like the Movo Photo iLav Digital Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Lightning Connector (B&H # MOILAV) instead.
Q: 10. Does is item have a AA battery adapter, or cord, that can allow it to be used with a Canon flash/speedlite?
A: We do not have AA battery adapters for now, but we may do this in the future. Please follow LanParte USA Facebook site for any further updates.
