Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How do I not shoot wide open all the time?

A: Since the FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt-Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Pentax 645-Mount Lens to Fujifilm G-Mount GFX Camera cannot control the aperture, the only lenses that can be stopped down would be lenses with a mechanical aperture ring.

Q: 2. Does this adapter have a tripod mount ?

A: No, this adapter does not have a tripod mount.

Q: 3. EOS lenses do not have aperture ring. Is it possible to set different values of aperture while using this adapter?

A: No. The FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt-Shift Adapter for Canon EF Lens to FUJIFILM X-Mount Camera is a manual adapter. Lens functions that rely on electronic communication between the lens and the camera body such as auto focus, auto exposure, and image stabilization will not function while using this adapter. Once cannot adjust the aperture with this adapter.

Q: 4. The lens has aperture control. Film lenses are open unless stopped down to shooting aperture. Does this stop the lens down?

A: The FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt-Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Pentax 645-Mount Lens to Fujifilm G-Mount GFX Camera cannot control the aperture of the adapted lens. You would need to set the aperture on the lens yourself and use stop down metering.

Q: 5. Is the Adaptor fit with fuji xt100 camera?

A: Yes, that mount will fit onto the Fujifilm X-T100. Note it is a manual adapter so you will not have any autofocus. And f/stop control is adjusted from the adapter not the camera.

Q: 6. There is a 1/4” threaded hole for hot shoe adapter? Thanks in advance.

A: The FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt-Shift Adapter for Canon EF Lens to FUJIFILM X-Mount Camera doesn't have a built-in 1/4"-20 thread. If the lens is too front-heavy, they typically have a tripod collar for weight support.

Q: 7. On the RF mount (Canon), can the shift and tilt be on the same side? or they are 90 degrees apart like they used to be on EOS mounts.

A: The tilt and shift on the FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt/Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Hasselblad V-Mount Lens to Canon RF Mount Camera Body will be 90 degrees apart

Q: 8. What is the maximum vertical shift on a Nikon d-850 before the overhanging prism gets the way and prevents further upward shift?

A: FotodioX does not list for the FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt/Shift Adapter for Pentax 67 Lens to Nikon F-Mount Camera and how much shift can be done when using it with the Nikon D850.

Q: 9. Is there a lock for the shift movement so the position will hold (especially when used for rise/fall)?

A: yes, there are lock on the adapter.

Q: 10. How does the image quality of this product compare to that of a real tilt shift lens?

A: There are no optical elements in the FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt-Shift Adapter for Nikon F Lens to Nikon Z-Mount Cameras so it will not affect the optical quality of a lens. This adapter has +/- 10mm of shift, for correcting converging lines and adjusting composition, as well as 10° of tilt. The Nikon 85mm PC-E tilt shift lens (for example) has 11.5mm of shift and 8.5 degrees of tilt.

This lens mount adapter will certainly get the job done. Don't waste money on the more expensive ones. Just make sure on your EOS-M camera to go to MENU Function settings (tab 5) Custom Functions (C.Fn) and select Enable for release shutter w/o lens. This is how the camera will allow you to take pictures with the Pentax lenses.

I am using this adapter on my M50 mark II to adapt a Pentax-M SMC f1.4 50mm lens. The adapter is well built, sturdy, and although the lens release lever feels a little stiff, has otherwise good ergonomics. Using a vintage lens has been a lot of fun, especially since my M50 had just been gathering dust after I acquired a much older, but better performing DSLR. Manual focus Pentax lenses especially can be found quite cheaply, and on the APS-C sensor of my camera perform exceptionally well under good conditions.
