I've been waiting for a good card reader to come out that had a USB-C connection! I haven't tested it side by side with my old reader, but I definitely get the sense that this one is taking full advantage of the speed of the memory cards. I use all three of the sizes it handles (the mini-sd, sd, and cf), so it has been a great, solid tool. It's also built very nicely. It's not a cheap plastic, like some others. 5
