Use your Godox AD200 flash for dive photography with the Helium Underwater Strobe Housing from ULTRAMAX. Constructed of anodized aluminum with stainless steel latches and depth rated for 492', the housing uses a fiber-optic port, compatible with ULTRAMAX UXDS-FOC or Sea & Sea fiber optic cables, to trigger the strobe. The EZ-Grip Swivel Power Output Knob makes it easy to adjust flash output even when wearing gloves, and the housing's function buttons are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The dome port yields 120° of coverage, so the whole scene before you will be properly lit.

You have options for mounting the housing on an arm—it's fitted with a standard 1/4"-20 tripod socket, and it comes with a 1" ball mount. The housing measures 10 x 4.5" and weighs 5.3 pounds on land with the Godox flash installed.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the guide number when both bulbs are at full power?

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not list that information. Using two Godox AD200 TTL Pocket Flashes at full output would output 400W of power, but the guide number for two units used simultaneously is not listed.

Q: 2. Is this product capable of housing the Canon VIXIA HF R700 for water use? And if not, then what or which casing will? Thank You.

A: No, this is made specifically for the Ultramax. There is no specific underwater case for the Canon R700.

Q: 3. How bright is that this flash ? Can it be used as a light source as well ?

A: The UFL-3 has a guide number of 22 at ISO 100, It is strictly a flash unit for still images, it has no continuous light for video

Q: 4. Do you need to purchase bare bulbs separately? Or do they come in package?

A: The Godox Dual Power Flash Bracket for AD200 would require two of the Godox AD200 TTL Pocket Flash Kit, BH # GOAD200KIT in order to use the bare flash bulbs with it. https://bhpho.to/3xBQVDD

Q: 5. Somewhere I thought I saw mention that HSS won't work with this. Correct or not?

A: Yes it will do High-Speed Sync with dedicated trigger

Q: 6. Is it compatible with the Godox AD200 Pro?

A: No, the ULTRAMAX helium underwater strobe housing is designed and made for the AD200 unit.

Q: 7. would the Godox Dual Power Flash Bracket for AD200 work with the new Godox AD200Pro?

Q: 9. I am using one ad200 in slot 1 but the bulb only fires at the center port and not the top. Is the unit broken? Note I have not tried with two Ad200s as I have only one. Please confirm.

A: Unit is not broken, when it is mounted in the center that is where the light source is illuminated from. But also check to ensure the pins are arranged properly.

Q: 10. is this strobe compatible in RC mode with TG-3?

A: The RC mode on the Olympus UFL-3 strobe does work with the Olympus Stylus TOUGH TG-3. Since the slave trigger is set back on the UFL-3 you will need to still connect the strobe to the cameras built-in flash with the Sea & Sea 17.8 Fiber-Optic Cable II: a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?N=11015907&InitialSearch=yes&sts=pi target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?N=11015907&InitialSearch=yes&sts=pi/aSince the TG-3 does not have a fiber optic cable port you will have to create one with the Sea & Sea Strobe Mask Set: a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/510287-REG/Sea_Sea_SS_50109_Strobe_Mask_Set.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/510287-REG/Sea_Sea_SS_50109_Strobe_Mask_Set.html/a

AD200's are versatile and dependable. They're not great balancing full sunlight. AD-B2 to the rescue. Combine two AD200's with this device!

Double the power if needed or use just one with the bonus of a modeling light.

Such a handy tool to have to gang up two ad200 heads. I do studio shoots about 12 times a year Where I am always short one Profoto head and I have to rent one to fill out my kit which has become tedious over the years with having to pick it up and return it. And buying a Profoto head at this stage of the game is out of the question ($$$!) Hoping this will solve that problem. With 400ws of power now (and a reflector I also purchased) I believe this unit will hold its own for my studio needs.

I have read much about it before I have pulled the trigger to buy one. Bowens mount is metal made, so it is safe to put any big softboxes you wish. I am using 120cm bowens mount octabox and it holds it very easy.

I'm impressed with what you get with this device for the price. Using this with Ad200pro is awesome with a Capitol A. You can use 1 Ad200pro or 2, as well as 1 bulb or 2. The modeling light is bright as you would need. Thats a plus. Dual power for sure. These actual put out as much light or more as than the Ad400pro, when you use 2 Ad200pros. Yes another great product by Godox. Thanks B&H.

I was initially skeptical when I first heard about this addition to the AD200 line, but I'm amazed at how brilliant this is. It allows me the option to switch between two fairly powerful AD200 flashes, or one really powerful strobe with the same gear. I just leave the bracket attached to my modifier and swap the AD200's on and off depending on the situation. Great idea and saved me a lot of money buying a larger setup, all while being a more versatile setup.
