All of Sigma's recent releases have been on par or even out performing GM lenses at half the price. This with my a7RIV and Super35 mode gives me 100-600 in a portable sharp and fast focusing package. Sony better start rethinking their prices... 5

It's not heavy, but it feels very well built and solid. From my short time using it I can definitely say that it needs the tripod collar - at least for me anyway. 5

Taken at 400mm f20 1/320s ISO 12800. Very sharp at 400.The focus is fast and accurate. Very happy with the purchase from B & H. 5

I decided to get this lens after watching many online reviews. I have used this lens on my A9 with great results as the AF was very fast and accurate and the sharpness was spot on. I also use the Sigma on my A7RIII with similar results except the A7RIII AF is not quite as fast as the A9. It is still very sharp. I would recommend this lens highly for a start out telephoto lens and you can not beat the performance for the price. I also have the Sony 100-400GM and 200-600G and rate the Sigma to be very close in performance. Highly recommend this lens. 5

This wasn't the G lens I wanted but it's more than adequate for the wildlife photos I take. Very happy with how it performs and it's solid in feel and construction. Very pleased with image quality. I have a 150-600 with an adapter ( I have a7r2 with sony adapter.) I needed something I could have fast focus for action shots. This lens is perfect 5

I have limited clicks on the lens up to this point but what I've seen so far is very impressive. Very sharp and the depth of field you can achieve is better than I expected. The one area that I haven't tested is in lower light situations. That was the one things that caused me hesitation in purchasing this rather than the Sony 100-400 which is a bit faster lens. However I expect this lens will hold its own, especially considering it's only about 40% of the cost of the Sony. 5
