The 8" D.A.S. Audio ACTION-508 is a passive PA speaker that’s portable, versatile, and simple to use. It can function as a main PA in a wide variety of positions, with a pair able to cover an audience up to 250. When used with the required amplifier and speaker processor, the speaker is easily setup to help working presenters, musicians, instructors, performers, and A/V providers get powerful, clean, and clear sound quickly.

The speaker provides 90 x 60° coverage and 124 dB of peak SPL—plenty of volume for smaller venues including houses of worship, conference centers, performance spaces, and meeting rooms. An amplifier delivering 600W peak power drives the 1.4" titanium compression driver and 8” woofer, providing crisp, detailed sound with a wide frequency range from 20 kHz down to 60 Hz. The 8" woofer has enhanced excursion capacity for much lower distortion coupled with a higher SPL.

The rear panel sports two speakON connectors for input and output. The horn-loaded compression driver is rotatable, allowing the speaker to be used in a horizontal position for stage monitoring or flown for horizontal deployment. The top handle offers ease in transport, while the integrated pole cup allows for speaker stand mounting.
