A: No. The connection wire is short, cheap, and two wire design (vs one-wire that dangles on one side). Also the entire headset is fragile and seems breakable. The Koss UR20 is much more robust, has a generously long, heavier wire, the wire dangles from only one side (not from both ears), and has better sound quality. Also the UR20 is less expensive. A: It does not amplify because it's a passive device.But the mine one connected to my moto g sounds great!!

A: This headset will work on a computer that has a USB-C port and any smartphone that has a 3.5mm headset port.
