Outfitted with a magnification and objective lens combination that is optimized for low-light use, the Minox 8x56 X-HD Binoculars is designed with extra low-dispersion HD glass to provide you with clear high-contrast views free from distortion.

Minox utilizes large 56mm objectives that draw in copious amounts of light that push its ability to perform in low and challenging lighting, such as in the pre-dawn and late dusk hours when many animals and birds are most active. Proprietary M* anti-reflection multi-coatings on the ED glass lenses and silver coated Abbe-Koenig roof prisms transmit bright and clear high-contrast images with true neutral color rendition and crisp clarity while correcting chromatic and spherical aberrations. The X-HD's performance enhancements are critical components for scanning wide open terrain, identifying your target, and maintaining sight of it without it seeing or smelling you.

Utilizing an open-bridge/dual-hinge configuration helps to cut weight without sacrificing stability while providing plenty of room to wrap your hands completely around the optical tubes for a better grip, even if you need to use them one-handed. The chassis is made of a lightweight and durable polycarbonate wrapped in a protective armor that provides a slip-resistant grip—especially in cold and wet weather. The optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be resistant to internal fogging and also waterproof—so the X-HD will fair better than you if it tumbles into a stream or pond. And if you do end up in a stream, tethered objective lens caps and one-piece ocular rainguard prevent their loss while allowing for fast reaction when opportunities present themselves.

Finally bought myself nice binoculars, and I was more than blown away when I received these. The clarity is amazing. I was expecting 12x binos to be bulky and heavy, but these are very slim and lightweight.

I had the amazing opportunity to use the razer hd 12x50s last September for an elk hunt in the flattops wilderness. My friend let me borrow these (i know i couldnt believe it myself, but with the vip warranty so why not???) for week and I was blown away. The clarity and color saturation is unmatched. The thing I was most impressed by was how crisp everything looked. The photos through the bibos dont do it justice.

I use the 10x42 Razor HD binos for bowhunting whitetails, coyote hunting, rifle hunting elk, at the range, and at 3D archery shoots. I originally purchased the 10x42 Viper HD's but returned/exchanged them for the razor's because the vipers did not perform as well with spotting whitetails in low light. The Razor's are definitely worth the extra money. They have a very nice, light, and compact size (less bulk bow hunting and not heavy on horseback elk hunting). As far as clarify, objects are very clear and detailed - what you can expect with all of the Razor HD glass. They perform very well in the mountains scanning off a tripod. I keep mine in a bino pouch and don't mess with the lens covers. Lastly, these have the best warranty in the industry.

I have had these binoculars for about 7 months. These come with me for everything from nature hikes, architecture tours, ballgames, and archery spotting. On that basis, these binoculars have excelled in their clearness and ease on my eyes. I especially like the clarity of the entire field of view and the build quality. My one issue has been slight fogging in wet conditions. Overall, looking forward to using these for the rest of my life and on my first hunt.

I've owned a pair of these 8x42 Razor HD's for over a year now and I love them. Easily the best binoculars you can have with you on a hunting trip...(and I have owned brand S and brand Z high end glass). You can feel the quality in these from the moment you pick them up. The resolution and edge-to-edge sharpness is impressive and makes you want to constantly glass while hunting.

Yesterday I was able to spot a wild boar over an hour before sunrise at 198 yards. The shooter was unable to see the hog with their rifle scope but with these 8x42's I could clearly pick out the direction the hog was facing as well as other details. Prior to the hog arriving in the field I spent some time star gazing. Yes these binoculars can be used for this! You will see details on the moon that makes you wonder why you had never done this before. When panning from side to side you are not going to have a rolling-ball effect that will make you feel dizzy or sick. The 8x42's are always with me when I am in the field.

Get you a pair...I plan on adding the 12x50 model for long range glassing to go with my 8x42's and my 20-60x85 Razor HD Spotting scope.
