I am actually using this at 1Gbps speeds to connect a USW-24-PoE (non-pro) to the USW-Aggregation, and that requires manually configuring the port on the USW-Aggregation to 1G before it can recognize the link. Not much to say about it, it just works. The pull tab to release the SFP is a bit unintuitive, and I had to pull so hard to get it out I was afraid it might break. 5

This item does exactly what it is supposed to do. It will connect either an SFP or an SFP port together just by plugging it in. Should you need to connect an SFP port to an SFP port you need to first manually configure the SFP port to negotiate at SFP prior to plugging it in. I honestly wish they sold ones a little shorter since it's literally jumping 1U in the rack but it does the job. 5

It works just like expected. Pop the blanks out of the devices and plug this in to connect. Mine goes between a UDMP and US-48 Pro PoE. 10gig shown in the controller. 5
