The IK Multimedia Z-TONE DI is an instrument preamp and active DI box offering versatile tone shaping and signal preservation for guitarists, bassists, and keyboardists performing live or recording in the studio. A: The PreSonus BlueTube DP v2 requires 12VDC to operate. Power adapter is included. The unit is not designed for field use.

A: No, NEXTO DI XQD Module for the NSB-25 is only compatible with XQD cards due to firmware imitations.

A: The IK Multimedia iRig Acoustic Stage may be connected to a Sennheiser SK100G3 transmitter. It must be done with a special instrument cable; B&H# SECI1R.

I switched to playing software instruments by midi at live music events but this is also perfect hot a DJ. I didn't need a full USB audio interface because I am not recording live audio. The box just takes digital audio via USB from my laptop, converts it to analog and sends it by ground lifted balanced outs to the PA. No noise, superb low latency with Ableton running NI plugins from a core2 duo MacBook. 5

The Peavey USB-P is out-of-the-box plug-n-play. Simply plug-in your laptop (or other device) using the USB port, attach a couple mic cables to the USB-P and your mixer, and you're ready to party!!For out-putting sound from a computer, or other digital device, to your mixer this little unit out-performs more expensive devices without the hassle of needing some sort of power cord. Your computer powers the thing through the USB. Convenient. The only con that can be stated about the Peavey USB-P, is that it is a one-way device. You cannot use this device to record live sound. But, I already have a device for that, so... 5

In the past and using a straight 1/8-inch to XLR conversion cable, I've had periodic issues of CPU noise bleeding into the audio signal. In my case, I was feeding through a Yamaha PM5D console to the house sound system using Crown amps. NO more! The Peavey USB-P has virtually solved the issue and for less than $100! I highly recommend it. 5
