The Magic Keyboard is a serious improvement over the original keyboard I purchased for my 2017 iPad Pro, and that was pretty good. But there's really no fair comparison, since the new model is backlit, can charge the Apple Pencil, and appears to be more durable. I like the typing action. Typically, for Apple products, it's pricey, but I feel strongly that I got my money's worth. 5

Is it expensive? Yep. Is it awesome? Yep. The keys are tactile, it is sturdy and just enough to make the use of the iPad that much more productive. I know a lot of people complain about there being no function keys, but I love it - because it keeps you using the iPad touch screen as it was intended. It sits at a perfect angle so that interacting with the keyboard and the screen is seamless. Love it. 5
