Q: 4. The DJM 250 mk2 has one XLR master output and one RCA (also master) output. Does this mean that the unit can be connected to a master only (choosing either RCA or XLR), or does it mean that the XLR can be used for the master speakers and the RCA for the booth speakers? Or (again), is "booth" not an option.

A: Both the XLR and RCA outputs will work at the same time. Ususlly the XLR will feed the house PA system and the RCA would feed the monitors in the booth.

A: After installing the cartridge and headshell on the tonearm it will need to be balanced with the counterweight. With the tonearm off the rest about an inch or 2 over the platter you will need to adjust the counterweight until the arm is floating parallel with the platter. For most cartridges this should only take a few turns forward on the weight. For heavier cartridges, you will find that the counterweight is unable to balance your tonearm. You can offset the weight of a heavy cartridge by installing the sub-weight on the rear of the tonearm, and follow the balancing procedure again.

A: No. The Magma Bags Carry Lite DJ-Case Flight Case for DJ Controller has an EVA foam-lined interior with two layers of pick-and-pluck foam on the bottom portion and egg-crate foam on the lid. The egg crate foam and the foam on the bottom and sides of the case is all glued in.
