The cocoa B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Hardwired LEMO 4-Pin Connector for Beyerdynamic Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as in presentations or sermons. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a LEMO 4-pin connector for direct connection to Beyerdynamic TS 316, TS 400, and TS 600 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Q: 1. Hello I purchased the Blink 500 B1 camera mount system single mic. Question, can I add another mic to this? Also any way to purchase just the lightning adapter?

A: Yes, you can purchase the Blink500TX transmitter and lavalier to add another mic to the system. And yes, you add just the Lightning Receiver as well, that product is the Blink500RXDi. Or you can add both to your system by purchasing the Blink500B3 system.

Q: 2. Will the DJI OM4 work correctly with this mic attached to an iPhone 12 Pro?

A: The DJI OM4 is designed to hold the smartphone only and there could be issues with balance when trying to use the iPhone with the wireless receiver attached. Our video specialists suggest using a different gimbal that will support the weight of the phone with the receiver attached, such as the Zhiyun-Tech CRANE-M2 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer (B&H # ZHCRANM2). Please contact our video department by phone or through live chat if you would like assistance with the gimbals that are available.

Q: 3. Can I use two transmitters with only one receiver?

A: No this is a one channel receiver and it will not work with two transmitters, in order to mic two people you need two complete systems.

Q: 4. does this work with the FujiFilm Xt3?

A: Yes, it would work great with the FujiFilm XT3.

Q: 5. What is antenna diversity? I'm looking for what I call "true" diversity - multiple receive antennas.

A: "If you glance at the Sennheiser EK 100 receiver, you only see one antenna. However, if you write it off as a non-diversity system, you are mistaken. The EK 100 features a technology called “adaptive diversity,” which utilizes the connected output cable as the second antenna, making it a diversity receiver. By using the ground connection of its output as the link to a second antenna, it provides improved reception and reliability" Taken from "Understanding the Basics of Sennheiser G3 Camera-Mount Wireless Systems" https://www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/pro-audio/hands-on-review/understanding-the-basics-of-sennheiser-g3-camera-mount-wireless-systems.

Q: 6. When choosing the 112G4 lava mic how do I know what frequency range to choose?

A: The Sennheiser ew 112P G4 Camera Mount Wireless Microphone System with ME 2-II Lavalier Mic will come with 1680 Tunable Frequencies Across 42 MHz, so you will find plenty of open frequencies in any of the three blocks available. To help select an appropriate operating frequency range, the Sennheiser website offers a tool called the Frequency Finder. (Found here: http://bit.ly/2FrbS7v). This tool will show you which frequencies are open in your geographical area.

Q: 7. As non-diversity, is this system subjected to more dropouts that true diversity? Can anyone shed some light based on experience?

A: A non-diversity wireless system may not have the same distance capability, or frequency agility as a true diversity wireless system.

Q: 8. Can I use this with a hand mic connected with a 3-Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm RA Cable ?

A: The transmitter within the Movo Photo EDGE-DI Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System for iPhones (2.4 GHz) has a 3.5mm TRS audio input connection. To potentially use with a dynamic handheld microphone, the compatible cable would be 3-Pin XLR female to 3.5mm TRS. A right angle on the 3.5mm connector would be okay to use.

Q: 9. can you remove the round windscreen?

A: Yes, the round metal windscreen on the Sennheiser ME 2-II lavalier microphone can be removed. Replacements are available -- Sennheiser MZW-2EW Steel Mesh Windscreen for ME2 Microphone (B&H # SEMZW2EW) or Auray Metal Windscreen for Senal OLM2 and Sennheiser ME2 Microphones (B&H # AUWLMOLM2S).

Q: 10. Kind of 2 questions: Whats the difference between the frequency models? It shows A, A1, & G with different frequency ranges. Which is best?

A: The frequencies have nothing to do with range. The range on all these is about 300'.It really doesn't matter you can pick whatever frequency block you want. You can run as many as 4 or more units in the same frequency block. When you reach a maximum of let's say 4 units in the same block. Then the next unit you would need to change blocks. So 4 A's then switch to A1 for the next 4. So it only matters when you are running several units at the same time.
