The cocoa B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Hardwired 4-Pin Female Proprietary Connector for Fender Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as in presentations or sermons. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 4-pin female proprietary connector for direct connection to Fender Passport wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Other than the ME2II lav mic (upgraded?), what is different about the 112 G4 generation wireless compared to the 112 G3 systems?

A: The new Sennheiser p-112 G4 system has features above that of the G3 series, such as the SK 100 G4 bodypack transmitter and the EK 100 G4 receiver, which sport an updated high-contrast LCD display, blue sync LED, and a dedicated escape button. The G4 series includes the ME 2-II Omnidirectional Clip-On Lav Mic, with improved lighter-weight design above the ME2 mic that comes with the G3 series. It also features an integrated windscreen and better frequency response. The Sennheiser ew 112P G4 system will come in appropriate frequency ranges that are in accordance with recent changes in allocation by the FCC.

Q: 2. Kind of 2 questions: Whats the difference between the frequency models? It shows A, A1, & G with different frequency ranges. Which is best?

A: The frequencies have nothing to do with range. The range on all these is about 300'.It really doesn't matter you can pick whatever frequency block you want. You can run as many as 4 or more units in the same frequency block. When you reach a maximum of let's say 4 units in the same block. Then the next unit you would need to change blocks. So 4 A's then switch to A1 for the next 4. So it only matters when you are running several units at the same time.

Q: 3. Can I use this with a hand mic connected with a 3-Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm RA Cable ?

A: The transmitter within the Movo Photo EDGE-DI Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System for iPhones (2.4 GHz) has a 3.5mm TRS audio input connection. To potentially use with a dynamic handheld microphone, the compatible cable would be 3-Pin XLR female to 3.5mm TRS. A right angle on the 3.5mm connector would be okay to use.

Q: 4. Is there any downside to getting two systems that are in different bands (e.g. A and G)?

A: There is not.

Q: 5. Digital wireless system

A: The EW 112P G4 system provides analog UHF wireless transmission.

Q: 6. I just purchased 2 Sennheiser EW 112P G4 systems. When both of them are plugged into separate channels on my camera, there is a distinct hiss. It only happens when I plug them both in. When it's just one, the hiss goes away. They are on different frequencies. Any suggestions? Thanks!

A: Typically this has to do with the mic preamp inside the camera because it is built so close to the rest of the circuitry in the camera it generates a noise floor or background hiss.

Q: 7. Will it work with DSLR cameras (specifically a Canon 7D)?

A: Yes. You need to run the receiver into the camera via a 3.5 mm jack.

Q: 8. When choosing the 112G4 lava mic how do I know what frequency range to choose?

A: The Sennheiser ew 112P G4 Camera Mount Wireless Microphone System with ME 2-II Lavalier Mic will come with 1680 Tunable Frequencies Across 42 MHz, so you will find plenty of open frequencies in any of the three blocks available. To help select an appropriate operating frequency range, the Sennheiser website offers a tool called the Frequency Finder. (Found here: http://bit.ly/2FrbS7v). This tool will show you which frequencies are open in your geographical area.

Q: 9. does the usb c port on the receiver output audio or is it charge only?

A: the USB-C port is only for charging

Q: 10. Is the windscreen removable?

A: Yes. It is a separate accessory that comes in the box.

I use the screw adaptors on a microphone stereo bar, which makes the bar very versatile and useful with many different mic holders. Also use them on individual mic stands. They work perfectly. Great price on a two pack!

The conversion goes both ways as I found out. This fits the Blue Yeti perfectly to go from 5/8 to 3/8. So, can now hang or mount the Yeti on anything.

I actually bought this to replace the mount on the Radius II. You'll need a 2-3mm spacer. I used a garden hose rubber washer/seal as a spacer and it works perfectly.

The machined threading is a perfect fit to the Yeti. I suppose this would be a perfect fit for anything else with a 5/8" opening. As I said, this conversion goes both ways as long as your turning this screw clockwise as well as the screw that goes through the inner hole.

Not much to say, it's 3/8" Female to 5/8" adapter that works. It's a good price for two.
