The GreenBoard Heavy-Duty Wood Paper Trimmer from Dry Lam is a precision paper trimmer with a 36-inch cutting length and the capacity to cut up to 30 sheets of 20 lb bond paper at a time. The hardened, high carbon steel blades are self-sharpening for a lifetime of precision performance. The 3/4"-thick solid wood baseboard features a permanent 1/2" grid for precise alignment and includes imperial and metric scales. For precision cutting, this heavy-duty paper cutter features an automatic paper clamp to prevent paper movement. For safety, the cutting arm incorporates a patented automatic blade latch, which locks with every cutting motion, and a protective finger guard that runs the length of the cutting surface. The blade arm features an ergonomic hand grip for comfortable repeated use, and the nonskid rubber feet keep the trimmer from moving while in use.

Q: 1. Does anyone know the ball diameter?

    A: It's about 1 or 1 1/8 . I took a photo along with a ruler but this site doesn't allow more advanced answers.

Q: 2. What's the simplest, shortest way to adapt this to a 1/4" threaded male screw in order to mount smaller LED lights, without adding excessive length?

    A: The smallest adapter to a 1/4 20 would be a Rapid adapter. https://bhpho.to/2lAkR1d

Q: 3. Any suggestions for media settings with my Epson SureColor P9000 printer? And is matte ink safe to assume with this material?

A: If you can't see a setting for vinyl the nearest substrate setting would be Semi gloss. If that's not available Semi Matte or luster should do the trick. As for the ink I would probably use photo black with this paper rather than Matte.

Q: 4. Can you cut paper in both directions?

A: With the Carl DC-220 15" Heavy-Duty Rotary Paper Trimmer you can cut paper in both directions.

Q: 5. I need to cut 13 x 30 inch mat boards into 13 x 5in rectangles. Is the magnetic paper holder removable to accommodate the 30 in. width sheets?

A: Yes, the magnetic paper guide can be removed.

Q: 6. Is this similar to the Matthew magic finger?

A: This is designed to have similar function.

Q: 7. The baby drop down pin seems to have a deeper mounting point than this swivel adapter - if using on a boom is there a downside to this?

A: You can use this swivel pin on boom arms.

    Q: 8. best 100mm head to use?

A: I am using the tripod to support a Cobra heavy camera crane and only use a rotation joint which is Frie??? 90brand capable of 90 pound load. For camera use you need a regular head. Don't go cheap as you want performance and 90% of that is in the head.I have another tripod which has the Manfroto fluid head... expensive but they are really nice.

Q: 9. how can you mount a dsrl camera on it?

A: You can use a Impact camera plate https://bhpho.to/2LlHJxp.

Q: 10. Will my elinchrom D-Lite 400W/s RX 4 Flash Head fit on easily? I bought the Impact 6.0 Pin with Collar , but my elinchrom does not fit onto it properly.

A: The original pin Impact 6.0 Pin with Collar, should of fit fine. You might have needed to make sure the screw on the flash is unscrewed enough. The Swivel pin should work as well. The flash fits on a 5/8 stud and both items are 5/8.
