The Hamilton Buhl Sack-O-Phones 5 x SC-7V Deluxe Headphones with Leatherette Ear Cushions & Volume Control come in a Sack-O-Phone Carry Bag. The Sack-O-Phone packaging is a bag that doubles as a knap sack and holds 5 deluxe headphones. It's a good way to easily store headphones.

The headphones feature an Automatic Stereo / Mono Smart Technology that allows these headphones to be used with virtually all school audio equipment. No need to worry about mismatching headphones between different sources and damaging ears or equipment. No switches to set or special plug adapters required to change; the headphone knows if it is plugged into a stereo or mono system and automatically adjusts. These headphones operate in 1/8" stereo, 1/8" mono, 1/4" stereo, or 1/4" mono modes.

Built with kid's health and safety in mind, these headphones are designed to combat the spread of head lice in schools. Each headphone comes in its own heavy-duty, write-on, moisture resistant, re-closable bag. When sealed in the bag, lice are killed in 24 to 48 hours without the use of chemicals.

I will rate this pair on the 10th scale but I can go up to 5 only. Hello I am a shortwave radio enthusiast, I have a couple of shortwave radios with new technology that allow you to use conventional headsets, I have a 1968 old one that only accepts monaural only. I was looking for a good set when I came across with the Hamilton Buhl. The sound, the quality and the look of this set is unbeatable, the price is I would say to low for what you get. Not always cheap is bad. Thank you Hamilton Buhl for making good products like this one. Paulo Pales, Davie, Fl.

I purchased two of these headphone sets for my two boys. They tend to break their headphones (the top band piece or the ear parts) because of the way they pull them off their heads. We can usually glue/bind things back together, but ultimately, we're off to buy another pair. We've considered investing more money but structurally, more expensive ones look the same and the thought of dropping 5x the standard cost and having them last as long as the cheapies...not appealing. That said, I found these and assessing the images provided, my husband felt they would likely last longer (or at least as long) and the cost wasn't too much more than we usually spend. At this point both sets of headphones have received some use (the plan is to wait for older ones to give up the ghost before wholeheartedly using these). They appear to be better made than our usual fare. My youngest finds them a bit uncomfortable (slightly tight around his head) but figures that they'll stretch after awhile (apparently this is normal for him). Older son had no issues (re: comfort). Sound has been fine (they are used for gaming, music/video). I don't know how well they'll perform long-term, but at this point, they appear to be well-made and we're pleased.

I bought these headphones to use as a cheap back-up pair for use on my metal detectors. For the price they worked quite well. They had sufficient volume and clarity for my application.
