The light beige B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Hardwired 1/4" Connector for Line 6 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.
This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as in presentations or sermons. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 1/4" connector for direct connection to Line 6 TBP06 wireless bodypack transmitters.
Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.
The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.
The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.
Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.
Standard, for most uses.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. As non-diversity, is this system subjected to more dropouts that true diversity? Can anyone shed some light based on experience?
A: A non-diversity wireless system may not have the same distance capability, or frequency agility as a true diversity wireless system.
Q: 2. Hi, just bought two of these. When I plug them into the separate XLR channels on my Sony fs7, there is a noticeable hiss being recorded. When I only plug in one, the hiss goes away. Any suggestions? Thanks. Each is set to a different frequency.
A: Try each channel individually to see if there is a noise floor isolated to one channel. I would also recommend double checking that the level from each system is as close to the same as possible.
Q: 3. Hi, I was hoping to know what the best frequency range for New York City would be?
A: NYC is a very flooded market with something on every frequency. The frequency bank you choose will not matter as much as making sure you do a scan at every new location you go to.
Q: 4. Hello I purchased the Blink 500 B1 camera mount system single mic. Question, can I add another mic to this? Also any way to purchase just the lightning adapter?
A: Yes, you can purchase the Blink500TX transmitter and lavalier to add another mic to the system. And yes, you add just the Lightning Receiver as well, that product is the Blink500RXDi. Or you can add both to your system by purchasing the Blink500B3 system.
Q: 5. Other than the ME2II lav mic (upgraded?), what is different about the 112 G4 generation wireless compared to the 112 G3 systems?
A: The new Sennheiser p-112 G4 system has features above that of the G3 series, such as the SK 100 G4 bodypack transmitter and the EK 100 G4 receiver, which sport an updated high-contrast LCD display, blue sync LED, and a dedicated escape button. The G4 series includes the ME 2-II Omnidirectional Clip-On Lav Mic, with improved lighter-weight design above the ME2 mic that comes with the G3 series. It also features an integrated windscreen and better frequency response. The Sennheiser ew 112P G4 system will come in appropriate frequency ranges that are in accordance with recent changes in allocation by the FCC.
Q: 6. Would this kit be compatible with an iPhone if I use an adapter to connect the receiver to the phone?
A: The Godox WMicS1 Pro Kit comes with a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS Output Cable for compatibility with smartphones.
Q: 7. I have this item, is there any way to use this wired? That is, to avoid the need to use batteries for non-moving, studio usage, drawing power from a mixing table for example?
A: If you were to purchase BH #SEMZA900P, this preamp would allow you to connect the lapel mic included with the wireless system to it, and wire it directly to a mixer via an XLR connection.
Q: 8. How does the receiver attach to a canon rp?
A: The receiver slides right into the shoe mount on top of the camera. If you have the shoe mount in use, you can always get a multi-shoe mount to mount multiple accessories, or because the Blink 500 receiver is so light, you can even clip it to the camera strap.
Q: 9. Can this be used with the Gopro mic adapter (BH #GO35MA • MFR #AAMIC-001) and or the Media Mod (BH #GOMMH9B • MFR #ADFMD-001)?
A: Yes, the Saramonic Blink 500 B1 Digital Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System (2.4 GHz) is compatible with the GoPro Microphone Adapter and Media Mod Case.
Q: 10. I just purchased 2 Sennheiser EW 112P G4 systems. When both of them are plugged into separate channels on my camera, there is a distinct hiss. It only happens when I plug them both in. When it's just one, the hiss goes away. They are on different frequencies. Any suggestions? Thanks!
A: Typically this has to do with the mic preamp inside the camera because it is built so close to the rest of the circuitry in the camera it generates a noise floor or background hiss.
