The tan B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Hardwired 3.5mm Connector for Amplivox Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as in presentations or sermons. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 3.5mm connector for direct connection to Amplivox S-1600T and S-1690T wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can this be used with 2 receivers?

A: No, unfortunately these 2.4GHz systems have to be transmitters with a single receiver. For what you'd like to do, you should choose a UHF system like the UwMic9 or UwMic15. You can pair those transmitters with as many receivers as you'd like.

Q: 2. Can the system be used with a zoom recorder?

A: Yes. Absolutely. I recommend using the XLR output connector to go into the Zoom .

Q: 3. Hi, just bought two of these. When I plug them into the separate XLR channels on my Sony fs7, there is a noticeable hiss being recorded. When I only plug in one, the hiss goes away. Any suggestions? Thanks. Each is set to a different frequency.

A: Try each channel individually to see if there is a noise floor isolated to one channel. I would also recommend double checking that the level from each system is as close to the same as possible.

Q: 4. Can I use two transmitters with only one receiver?

A: No this is a one channel receiver and it will not work with two transmitters, in order to mic two people you need two complete systems.

Q: 5. Would this work well for live sound plugging the receiver into an active speaker with built in mixer and two mic channels?

A: The Saramonic UwMic9 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System Kit that you asked about can work for live sound, feeding into XLR mic inputs on a mixer or speaker. If you don't strictly need battery power though, a stationary wireless system will usually be more reliable. I would recommend considering this Sennheiser XSW1 dual system: https://bhpho.to/2TyfIGm or, on a more limited budget, this Samson Concert 288 system: https://bhpho.to/3PfE6bE

Q: 6. Digital wireless system

A: The EW 112P G4 system provides analog UHF wireless transmission.

Q: 7. What is antenna diversity? I'm looking for what I call "true" diversity - multiple receive antennas.

A: "If you glance at the Sennheiser EK 100 receiver, you only see one antenna. However, if you write it off as a non-diversity system, you are mistaken. The EK 100 features a technology called “adaptive diversity,” which utilizes the connected output cable as the second antenna, making it a diversity receiver. By using the ground connection of its output as the link to a second antenna, it provides improved reception and reliability" Taken from "Understanding the Basics of Sennheiser G3 Camera-Mount Wireless Systems" https://www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/pro-audio/hands-on-review/understanding-the-basics-of-sennheiser-g3-camera-mount-wireless-systems.

Q: 8. Does it work with iPhone camera?

A: This wireless system can be used as an external microphone when shooting video with your iPhone's camera, by connecting the included cable from the receiver to following adapters: Rode SC4 3.5mm TRS Female to 3.5mm Right-Angle TRRS Male Adapter Cable for Smartphones, BH #ROSC4 and the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter, BH #APLAADAP.

Q: 9. Can the wireless receiver operate while charging?

A: No. the receiver can not be used while it is charging.

Q: 10. Is there any downside to getting two systems that are in different bands (e.g. A and G)?

A: There is not.
