Q: 9. So will the gels I have from the 1st version of the grid/gel kit work with this?

A: The first and second generation gels should be compatible.

Q: 10. Aren't D1/D2 the "OCF" too? They seem have the same body as Bx has. Unfortunately there aren't the same accessories marked as "suitable for Dx". Marks are either "for Bx" or "for all OCF monolights". Just want to know which holder and gel kits to buy for my D2 monolights.

A: For your D-2 you don't use any OCF accessories at all as it's unsafe. The modelling lamp will burn up these accessories in no time and it's a real life fire hazard.
