The tan B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Hardwired 2.5mm Locking Connector for Comtek Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.
This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as in presentations or sermons. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 2.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Comtek M-216 and M-72 wireless bodypack transmitters.
Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.
The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.
The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.
Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.
Standard, for most uses.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. does the usb c port on the receiver output audio or is it charge only?
A: the USB-C port is only for charging
Q: 2. Are these legal in the us? Here's what the FCC says about frequency ranges. Unlicensed wireless microphone use is permitted on the 902-928 MHz band, the 1920-1930 MHz, and on portions of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands under specified power levels and rules for operation for each of those bands.
A: Yes all frequencies between 470-608MHz are legal in the US
Q: 3. Digital wireless system
A: The EW 112P G4 system provides analog UHF wireless transmission.
Q: 4. Hello I purchased the Blink 500 B1 camera mount system single mic. Question, can I add another mic to this? Also any way to purchase just the lightning adapter?
A: Yes, you can purchase the Blink500TX transmitter and lavalier to add another mic to the system. And yes, you add just the Lightning Receiver as well, that product is the Blink500RXDi. Or you can add both to your system by purchasing the Blink500B3 system.
Q: 5. What is antenna diversity? I'm looking for what I call "true" diversity - multiple receive antennas.
A: "If you glance at the Sennheiser EK 100 receiver, you only see one antenna. However, if you write it off as a non-diversity system, you are mistaken. The EK 100 features a technology called “adaptive diversity,” which utilizes the connected output cable as the second antenna, making it a diversity receiver. By using the ground connection of its output as the link to a second antenna, it provides improved reception and reliability" Taken from "Understanding the Basics of Sennheiser G3 Camera-Mount Wireless Systems" https://www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/pro-audio/hands-on-review/understanding-the-basics-of-sennheiser-g3-camera-mount-wireless-systems.
Q: 6. Other than the ME2II lav mic (upgraded?), what is different about the 112 G4 generation wireless compared to the 112 G3 systems?
A: The new Sennheiser p-112 G4 system has features above that of the G3 series, such as the SK 100 G4 bodypack transmitter and the EK 100 G4 receiver, which sport an updated high-contrast LCD display, blue sync LED, and a dedicated escape button. The G4 series includes the ME 2-II Omnidirectional Clip-On Lav Mic, with improved lighter-weight design above the ME2 mic that comes with the G3 series. It also features an integrated windscreen and better frequency response. The Sennheiser ew 112P G4 system will come in appropriate frequency ranges that are in accordance with recent changes in allocation by the FCC.
Q: 7. Can i get an adapter to change the audio output from 3.5mm to USB Type-C or Micro depending on what device i connect it to?
A: The Saramonic SR-C2003 is an excellent 3.5mm Female to USB-C adapter that would work perfectly for this. I have not seen a MicroUSB adapter that can handle audio. As far as I know the protocol is not up to the challenge, that is why USB-C took over. BUT and phone that has MIcroUSB will have a headphone port, for that use the included 3.5mm TRS to TRRS output cable that comes with the Blink 500 B1 & B2.
Q: 8. Can you buy an additional transmitter and sync it to record two subjects direct to camera? Or do you need to purchase two units?
A: Short answer is no you can not, you will need an additional system if you want to record two subjects. You can send one transmitter to multiple receivers, but not the other way around. One receiver cannot receive signals of two transmitters. There are only a few select systems on the market that have a dual receiver built into one body.
Q: 9. How does the receiver attach to a canon rp?
A: The receiver slides right into the shoe mount on top of the camera. If you have the shoe mount in use, you can always get a multi-shoe mount to mount multiple accessories, or because the Blink 500 receiver is so light, you can even clip it to the camera strap.
Q: 10. When choosing the 112G4 lava mic how do I know what frequency range to choose?
A: The Sennheiser ew 112P G4 Camera Mount Wireless Microphone System with ME 2-II Lavalier Mic will come with 1680 Tunable Frequencies Across 42 MHz, so you will find plenty of open frequencies in any of the three blocks available. To help select an appropriate operating frequency range, the Sennheiser website offers a tool called the Frequency Finder. (Found here: http://bit.ly/2FrbS7v). This tool will show you which frequencies are open in your geographical area.
