The tan B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Detachable TA4F Connector for Vega Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as in presentations or sermons. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Vega BP2020, PRO-2, ST2020, T23, T25, T37, and T93 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this work well for live sound plugging the receiver into an active speaker with built in mixer and two mic channels?

A: The Saramonic UwMic9 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System Kit that you asked about can work for live sound, feeding into XLR mic inputs on a mixer or speaker. If you don't strictly need battery power though, a stationary wireless system will usually be more reliable. I would recommend considering this Sennheiser XSW1 dual system: https://bhpho.to/2TyfIGm or, on a more limited budget, this Samson Concert 288 system: https://bhpho.to/3PfE6bE

Q: 2. Will this allow for 48kHz, 24-bit audio recording using apps like FilmicPro?

A: Yes this will allow audio recording with Filmmic Pro 48 Khz at 24 bit.

Q: 3. Are these compatible with a dslr?

A: No, this version of the Movo Photo EDGE-DI-DUO 2-Person Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System has a receiver with a Lightning connector specifically for use with iPhones. The Movo Photo WMX-1-DUO 2-Person Wireless Lavalier Microphone System (B&H # MOWMX1DUO) is the same system, but it includes a receiver with a 3.5mm output that can be connected to a camera with its included 3.5mm TRS cable and it also includes a 3.5mm TRRS cable for connection to smartphones and tablets. Adapters can be used to enable compatibility. The Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (B&H # APLAADAP) can be used for iPhones with a Lightning connector.

Q: 4. compatible with macbook?

A: The Movo Photo EDGE-DI-DUO 2-Person Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System for iPhones (2.4 GHz) features a Lightning connector for connecting to inputs found specifically on iPhones and would not be compatible with other connections found on the Macbook.

Q: 5. Are these legal in the us? Here's what the FCC says about frequency ranges. Unlicensed wireless microphone use is permitted on the 902-928 MHz band, the 1920-1930 MHz, and on portions of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands under specified power levels and rules for operation for each of those bands.

A: Yes all frequencies between 470-608MHz are legal in the US

Q: 6. What did they upgrade in the G4 over the G3?

A: I had a G2 camera mount and now have the G4. The G4 comes with an upgraded lavalier and the electronics seem to be quieter overall. I have not yet used this mic in the real world.

Q: 7. Can this be used for a Facebook live or is it just for video recordings?

A: This should work with Facebook live when set in Mono Mode.

Q: 8. Will 1.5V Lithium rechargeable batteries work in the Sennheiser EW 112P G4?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser EW 112P G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System (A: 516 to 558 MHz) can be used with rechargeable lithium batteries.

Q: 9. can this be used with 2 receivers?

A: No, unfortunately these 2.4GHz systems have to be transmitters with a single receiver. For what you'd like to do, you should choose a UHF system like the UwMic9 or UwMic15. You can pair those transmitters with as many receivers as you'd like.

Q: 10. As non-diversity, is this system subjected to more dropouts that true diversity? Can anyone shed some light based on experience?

A: A non-diversity wireless system may not have the same distance capability, or frequency agility as a true diversity wireless system.
