A: Yes there is for sure. I have one myself.

Q: 2. Does this work with the Phottix indra 500?

A: No, the Profoto OCF Beauty Dish (Silver, 24"), B&H # PR101221, would not be compatible for use with the Phottix Indra500 TTL Studio Light. The Profoto OCF Beauty Dish (Silver, 24") is only compatible for use with the Profoto OCF light fixtures, which would be the Profoto B1, B1X, B2, and B10 OCF Flash Heads.

Q: 3. Can I use this with the profit D2?

A: No. Modeling lamp is incompatible. LED modeling Lamp only

Q: 4. Is it possible to use the Profoto OCF Gel pack for the B2s with this beauty dish at the same time?

A: Yes but the filter attachment will narrow the light spread. Don't think this will change the quality of light however.

Q: 5. Was the picture of the lady in the long blue formal dress shot only with the ProFoto beauty dish ?? At least from the front ? I understand there may have been a light on the background.

A: This is a customers image, we assume he used a Profoto light with the Profoto Ocf beauty dish.

Q: 6. Can the speed ring be changed on this softbox?

A: Speed ring is sold separately. It is the same speed ring used for all Profoto light modifiers.

Q: 7. I don't own a profoto head yet. How or will this work with a head with a bowens type mount?

A: It doesn't. The OCF speedring is for Profoto only.

Q: 8. Does this work with the 2' octa ocf grid?

A: The 2'ocf grid is not recommended to be used ocf beautydish .

Q: 9. What to choose? The White or the Silver Beauty Dish. Any suggestions?

A: I have only had the OCF White Beauty DIsh in hand (as the silver was on back-order) and I let my good friend, Bud Thorpe (The SOPHA LLC) have a hand at testing it out. He wrote a great blog post describing the unit and his views on the experimental testing that he used. You should check it out to get an experienced lighting aficionado's view on the white OCF.

I have both the white and silver models. The character of light between the two is distinct enough to warrant owning both. As you might expect, the silver produces more focused and contrasty area of light. I like having the option to choose between white or silver to produce the kind of light needed to match a given subject or situation. Love how compact and portable the unit is when folded. 5

Normally I use the Profoto Soft White Beauty Dish, but was headed overseas to Italy on assignment for portrait and fashion shoots as part of an editorial, so I picked this up. It creates a beautiful soft light, and is an ideal light source for when I travel. 5

Just as good as the traditional Profoto Beauty Dish, but less expensive and more packable. Great product. 5

I first purchased the Octagonal 2' soft box, the results were beautiful but I invested on this Beauty dish and obtained some Superb results ! The second diffuser panel really spreads light evenly providing a more soft light on skin. I got the silver because I love more contrasty and punchy images and obtained what i wanted with it. Is super easy to set up collapsible and light weight. 5

There's no other brand that offers you the quality of Profoto. Forget about cheap gear if your planning for future. You want quality and durability for many years....buy Profoto. 5

Well built professional tool as are all of Profoto's products. I can't compare it to a traditional hard beauty dish because I don't own a hard dish and never will because those simply don't fit my gear bags. That's why I love the collapsible, it's extremely compact and light, and a welcome addition to my location kit. The light IS beautiful...noticeably punchier than that of the OCF 2' Octobox, but similar if you also use the included diffuser sock. 5
