The black SERIES8 Confidence CO2-8WL Dual Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone from Point Source Audio is a fully redundant dual-element microphone that is water, sweat, and makeup proof. The SERIES8 Confidence lavalier is composed of two sonically matched elements in a single housing that are wired to two TA5F connectors for Lectrosonics wireless transmitters.

The all-in-one solution is suitable for live stage, theater, broadcasting, and production environments. The mic cable splits nine inches above connection to the bodypack and allows ample separation between both wireless transmitters. In addition, the paired microphone is factory matched in frequency and sensitivity, so that when vital backup is initiated, any difference in audio performance is nearly undetectable.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I blend the audio in one of the Input selections (let's day Position 2) from two Audio sources connected to two separate Inputs (let's say Position 1 and 3) without producing a ground loop or unwanted noise/hum?

A: No, only one input source can be selected at a time. It is not possible to combine multiple input sources. Perhaps the Rolls MX28 Mini-Mix VI Compact Stereo Line Mixer (B&H # ROMX28) may be more along the line of what you need. Please contact us by phone or through live chat on the website if you would like further assistance to find the best option for your application.

Q: 2. will this work with samson qe fitness headset?

A: Hello, Thank you for contacting Samson Technologies. The QE headset will connect into this belt pack along with any of our other headset/ear set microphones with a P3 connection. If you have any other questions or inquiries, please let me know at any time. Best Regards, James

Q: 3. Is it working fine as a karaoke amplifier?

A: You could use this to plug your microphones into it and then send the signal out to something else.

Q: 4. Does the receiver accept a line level input?

A: The receiver included with the Samson Go Mic Mobile Digital Wireless System can send a line level output signal when the output selector switch is set for headphones. The audio from the transmitter is sent wirelessly to the receiver so there is no physical input connection on the receiver. The transmitter is designed for mic level input.

Q: 5. Could use this so I could use a 4 pin ClearCom headset on a smart phone? Like Unity App?

A: Yes, the Point Source Audio ADP-4MxPH PSA Headset Adapter Cable 4-Pin Male XLR to 3.5mm Male TRRS can be used to adapt a 4-Pin XLRF terminated communications headset for smartphone connection.

Q: 6. I currently own the Samson Go Mic Mobile system with the Q8 handheld mic. Can I use two of the LM8 Lavalier packs with the receiver that I already have? Or do I need to purchase the Dual Channel Lav System?

A: The Samson Go Mic Mobile reciever will allow for two transmitters, so you can add this body pack and lav to your system in additon to the Q8 handheld transmitter for a two channel system.

Q: 7. Can you transmit to two receivers? I'd like to receive the transmission at my camera as well as the house sound mixer.

A: I am not positive but it would seem that two receivers both set to the same channel should receive the same signal from one transmitter set to that channel. I too will appreciate the answer to this. I can try it for you but I won't be back at my equipment for about three weeks.

Q: 8. I want to use multiple SYSTEMS in the same space in the following way: two transmitters send the signal to the same receiver, and this receiver gets the signal into a computer for streaming. In the same room would be multiple SYSTEMS, each sending the signal to a different stream. I don't want the systems to work together in the same space, but rather independently. Is this posible with this equipment?

A: The Samson Go Mic Mobile allows for six total transmitters (handheld beltpack lav/headset)to be used across three complete systems. 100' operating range (line of sight) Up to three simultaneous systems, for six total transmitters

Q: 9. can this work with any microphone with TA4F connector or is it only for Point Source mics?

A: The Point Source Audio CON is meant for use with PSA microphones only. Results with other brands will vary as they may have different wiring schemes, even if the connector is the same.

Q: 10. Is the 1/4" output balanced or unbalanced?

A: Per Galaxy Audio, the 1/4'' output is unbalanced.

I was in the market for a mini mixer and was looking at the Roland M-10MX, dissapointly it had been discontinued and was difficult or too expensive to purchase. Luckily enough for me I stumbled across this mixer, the Rolls MX122. I am using it to connect multiple live electronic musical instruments and it does the job perfectly. The panning ability is also useful. And more than enough inputs for what I need.
