This 32" monitor's VA panel supports 3840 x 2160 4K UHD resolution with 1.07 billion colors and high-dynamic range, covering 95% of the DCI-P3 gamut.

Reduce screen tearing with AMD's FreeSync Technology. FreeSync enables the monitor to dynamically adjust its refresh rate to the frame rate being output by the graphics card, thereby greatly reducing screen tearing, stuttering, and other artifacts.

The monitor has MAXXAUDIO-enhanced 5W stereo speakers built-in, which allows you to enjoy music and video without having to sacrifice desktop space using external speakers.

Dual Controller lets you control two different computers plugged into the monitor using the same mouse and keyboard.

DAS (Dynamic Action Sync) Mode reduces input lag for more responsive input.

Black Stabilizer adjusts the brightness during dark scenes, so you can see more details that are otherwise hidden.

Reader Mode reduces the amount of blue light emitted, so you can work comfortably over long hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a hobbyist photographer/videographer (I sell products but it's not my full time job) and this monitor has been excellent so far for editing. For the past several years my setup has been three 27" QHD (2K) monitors, but I recently got into drone photography and decided to replace one of the monitors with something bigger to help with editing the larger landscape photos (it has helped). I also recently built a new computer and wanted to get a 4K monitor to take advantage of the upgraded video card (that was more of a "want" than a "need" but it was definitely worth it).

As for gaming, I'm way too old to be hardcore lol. For the games I do play - WOW, (non-hardcore) MOBA, strategy/simulations, etc - this monitor is a huge upgrade from a 27" QHD and delivers excellent performance.

The monitor arrived well packaged with no dead pixels or any other problems. The stand isn't anything fancy but it serves its purpose - height & angle adjustability more than meet my needs (I'll probably eventually get an arm and mount it like my other 2 monitors to free up some desk space). There were some cables in the box but my desk is a little distance from my computer so I ordered a longer cable (Cable Matters DP 1.4, 16 feet) for 20 bucks and it works fine. The monitor's color gamut and brightness are great for my needs and it calibrated easily using my Spyder. I haven't used the speakers.

If you need more than a billion colors, built-in hardware color calibration or an insane refresh rate, this monitor isn't for you - you'll either need to get a smaller monitor pay a lot more. But for general use, this is great monitor for the price! I've had it for 2 weeks and am very happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time for an upgrade from my old 1080p monitor. I didn't realize what a needed upgrade this was. The LG 32" 4k monitor is so much easier on my eyes. This was by far the best value of the available options, highly recommended.

I was concerned choosing a IPS panel over a VA panel, because our living room TV is an OLED and I'm a huge fan of inky dark blacks. But 4k @ 32 inches requires you to sit pretty close, and the viewing angles on a VA panel are just too bad for that (major color degradation at edges) and I can't tolerate the distortion from curved screens.

Turns out my fears were unwarranted! With the proper settings (Black Level High, brightness & contrast at reasonable levels) the monitor doesn't suffer from raised (greyish) blacks, and there's only a slight amount of black crush at the tail end of the spectrum. The highlights are great, viewing angle is nice, no obvious issues with screen uniformity, motion, etc.

The only minor issue I have with the screen is the finish - it's a semi-gloss/matte combo that does a poor job of diffusing reflections. It is very sensitive to any kind of light shining directly on the screen. If you have a dark office, no issues, but if you're right next to a window the light can be very distracting. Luckily the monitor gets VERY bright, so you can adjust as needed to drown out most of the glare.

For the price, the monitor really exceeds my expectations. I use it mostly for work (coding/office/etc., lots of small text) and it's looks fantastic even with 150% scaling enabled. I haven't tried it out for any gaming (planning to hook old XBox One X up to it at some point), but if the 4k videos I've watch on it are any indication, it should look great!

Preface: I'm a noob when it comes to picking monitors, my only monitor prior to this for the last ~8 years was an old cheap 24 LED Dell from 2012. I'm also a student that uses Adobe PS/AI/ID and Solidworks a lot.

I bought this monitor for my workstation to have a second monitor with good color for my art assignments. I was working off of my one, sad little monitor and I got tired of having to spend time switching back and forth between tabs or use my laptop to follow tutorials and stuff for school.

I was looking for an under $500 IPS 32 high res monitor. Finding a flat monitor with good color was important, performance in gaming was not a concern. I spent a month comparing the specs on different monitors and this one had the best specs while staying in budget, learned a lot in the process. The LG ultrafine was a little too extra for me, and I didn't need the ergo arm, so I chose this one. Waited for it to release to see reviews which came out very good, and then the price dropped $40 so it was time to buy.

I have had it about 3 weeks and so far it has delivered! Really happy with it. Never going back.

No issues from out of the box, but I got the protection just in case. It's surprisingly light for how big it is, I was able to hold it up with one hand while installing it on my ergo arm without a sweat. It came with one power cable, one HDMI cable, and one Display Port cable.

Also it matches my PC case and desk with white/black color scheme, although that wasn't important, but it's nice for aesthetics.

I wanted an HDR compatible monitor and shopped around for a month learning about them and comparing specs and prices. I bought this on on B&H's Black Friday sale with my Payboo card.
It was a breeze to set up taking as much time as it took to plug in the cable. I immediately starting playing around with LR's new HDR feature with some old raw files. Wow. So I have had it about a month now and have no complaints. It's far better then my old monitor which cost me more and had flicker issues and would put itself into sleep mode from which I had to jiggle the mouse and wait for it to come back to functional performance. All in all I have no problem recommending this monitor along with its HDR compatibility..

Who’d a thunk somebody could dream up a monitor to work with Windows and MacOS seemlessly? 32”UN650-W does that on a 4K 4 device KVM switch with both flavors of Windows and MacOS varieties. Fully functional in IT lab that makes stuff happen. (Did I mention it’s affordable?)
