The white B2D Directional Lavalier Mic, Standard Gain, with Hardwired cH-Style 4-Pin Connector Cable for Audio Technica Wireless Transmitters from Countryman features a lightweight 0.18-ounce body that was designed to be discreetly mounted and can be used for miking news anchors, actors in a film or theater setting, lecturers in a school or house of worship type environment.

The B2D's tight hypercardioid pattern gives the mic an extra 6-10 dB of headroom compared to an omnidirectional lavalier mic, which means less problems with feedback, ambient noise, room rumble, and phase cancellations when using multiple microphones.

This version offers the highest gain for general chest-worn applications such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the B2D lavalier is equipped with a hardwired cable that terminates to a cH-style 4-pin connector for direct connection to Audio Technica ATW-3201 wireless bodypack transmitters.

With its small size and sensitivity options, the B2D can easily hide behind a shirt button. This makes it invisible for film work, theater, live shows, or any other application.

Natural vocal reproduction and a tight polar pattern make the B2D ideal for broadcast and is a dependable workhorse you can count on to perform night after night.

The isolation clips minimize clothing and vibration noise while allowing 360° of rotation for easy positioning of the microphone.

This microphone is tuned to a frequency response that is natural and intelligible at a wide range of distances from the mouth. It delivers wonderful sound quality on the chest (8-10" from the mouth) or towards the collar (3-4").

Standard (gray band) for most uses

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How much area does one microphone cover?

A: According to the spec sheet the the mics have a 120 degree pickup and should be placed 3x the distance from the mic to the closest source across the front of the stage and 2x the same distance from front to back. So if the Mic is 4 feet above the closest performers head, they should be 12 foot apart across the front of the stage and 8 foot spacing from the front to the rear. By going higher you can increase the distance apart but these mics are prone to feedback so closer will work better and give youe more gain before feedback.

Q: 5. Any thought about this headphones compare to Razer BlackShark Expert 2.0? M50X is the best headphone I ever used base on testing from B&H(I have Dr.dre Pro) but Razer BlackShark Expert 2.0 look also nice to me.

I went for the kit because of the case, and it is solid.
The headphones are a good deal for the price and are very comfortable to wear. Have been doing some vo and sound editing and these have been a workhorse so far.

Really like the quality of the sound and how comfortable these are. It's also a great benefit that it comes with 3 different cables to suit your need. Not one cable fits all.
Great buy and recommended.

A wonderful sound which is pleasant to the ears. Other headphones I've used have been strident. These have a round sonority and you can hear subtleties in the sound.

I haven't had a chance to wear these headphones for any length of time more than three or four hours, but I can definitely say that assuming they don't become wildly uncomfortable everything else works as promised. Sound quality is great, detachable cable is very useful, overall I very munch enjoy the purchase. I heard that the M40x was made less durable so I sprang for these, and haven't (obviously) stress tested them but they seem to be made of sturdy stuff.

Since I couldn't try them on before buying them, I was a bit worried because some people said they didn't fit well. I have a big head and they fit great. Probably all the small heads complaining. The sound is incredible and you will hear things in songs that you never heard on subpar headphones. I have the Bose Noise Canelling headphones, which are great, but I mostly use those for the airplane. These I use these for video editing and for listening to music.I got them on sale as well, for $ bucks off on B&H, so even better.
