This USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A to Micro-USB Type-B Optical Cable from Optical Cables by Corning supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) data transfer up to 65.6' over optical fiber. It includes bus power delivery over two copper wires with built-in over-current protection. Its all-metal housing provides superior EMI performance. The USB Type-A plug is for the host connection and the USB Micro-B plug with USB 3 Vision locking screws connects to devices. This cable is compatible with USB 3.1 hosts and peripherals only and is not backward compatible.
