The white B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Hardwired TA4F Connector for Lightspeed Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as in presentations or sermons. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Lightspeed BP-700 and BP-800 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can these units be charged while in use?

A: Yes, the Wireless GO II system can be used while it is charging via USB.

Q: 2. Does this work with iphone camera?

A: Yes, the Wireless GO II system is compatible for use with the iPhone's native camera app.

Q: 3. How good/bad is the Wireless Go II if I use it like a shotgun mic both receiver and one transmitter on the same camera for typical outdoor YouTube videos?

A: The Rode Wireless GO transmitter is not going to work like a shotgun microphone. The transmitter's built-in mic is omnidirectional and shotgun microphones are typically very directional and designed to pickup sound from a distance while reducing the background noise. The transmitter's built-in mic is intended to be used while it is attached to a person for picking up their voice from close up. If you need a microphone to pickup sound while mounted on the camera, then you should use a shotgun microphone for the best results.

Q: 4. Why did they not include a button on the wireless go II to begin and stop recording? i've spent over an hour trying to get it to record and it wont. firmware up to date and when connected to rode central on windows 10, no option to begin recording.

A: The Wireless GO II's on-board recording function is enabled and disabled via the RØDE Central app. Once the transmitter and receiver are paired, the recording begin automatically. This recording option is provided for back up purposes.

Q: 5. Can the fur windshields be bought separately?

A: Replacement fur windshields for the Wireless GO II Transmitters are available directly from Rode. You can reach them by phone at 562-364-7400. Rode's US offices are based in California.

Q: 6. Does it come in white?

A: Not at the time being.

Q: 7. Can i use 2 sets of these connected to a PC over USB to function as a audio interface for 4 people for livestreaming? also how do the receivers show up in winows as a separate audio device for each transmitter or somehow combined?

A: You would need to connect to an audio interface that has at least 2 mic inputs. You would need a Kopul mini - XLR adapter (in the following link) for each receiver to be able to connect it to an audio interface. The receivers would not show up as separate devices. You control the level of each receiver on the audio interface itself. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/985832-REG/kopul_a_xmmf_adapter_xlr_male.html

Q: 8. How does the audio quality compare to traditional wireless lavs like the Sennheisers G3/G4 ?

A: The audio quality is very, very good and compares well with the Sennheiser products in most operating environments, given the cost differential.

Q: 9. To use it as a handheld mic. How does the audio compare to Shure SM58 or Sennheiser e835?

A: The Rode Wireless Go is not designed for hand-held use and is not comparable to hand-held mics. Rode Transmitter has a built-in mic(Omnidirectional) that is much different than hand held mics such as SM58 or E835, both of which are Cardioid Dynamic mics, designed to be used within 3-4" of lips. Q: 10. Hello. Does this kit will work on an iPhone XI PRO to make facebook live pro audio or need additional equipment? Thanks in advance

A: The Rode Wireless GO II is compatible for use with iPhones, but may not work with Facebook Live. Apple iOS devices do work with the built-in mic for Facebook Live, but when starting up Facebook Live on iOS devices using an external microphone, the device only recognizes its built-in mic. While this is disappointing, iPhone users have found a way to work around this limitation by starting up Facebook Live using the internal mic first. After the live stream has already started, then go ahead and plug in the external microphone. For many iPhone and iPad users, this seems to do the trick. Give this a try before purchasing the Wireless GO II if you are specifically purchasing it to use for Facebook Live. The system does work on iOS for typical audio applications as well as for most other audio/video applications like the native iOS camera app.
