Apple iOS devices do work with the built-in mic for Facebook Live, but when starting up Facebook Live on iOS devices using an external microphone, the device only recognizes its built-in mic. While this is disappointing, iPhone users have found a way to work around this limitation by starting up Facebook Live using the internal mic first. After the live stream has already started, then go ahead and plug in the external microphone. For many iPhone and iPad users, this seems to do the trick. Give this a try before purchasing the Wireless GO II if you are specifically purchasing it to use for Facebook Live.
