The black B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Hardwired TA3F Connector for Audix Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to Audix B60 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. do you need to plug an external mic into the transmitter? or does it have a mic internally?

A: Nohe transmitters included with the RODE Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder have a built-in omnidirectional microphone, so using an external microphone like a lavalier is optional.

Q: 2. Can this unit record on split channels? For instance Mic 1 on channel 1 and Mic two on channel 2?

A: Yes! In Stereo mode, the receiver splits Mic 1 to Left and Mic two to Right. In Mono mode, it mixes them together.

Q: 3. I understand this unit is made to accept standard 3.5mm cable. But has anyone tried a lav mic with locking 3.5mm connection? Did it work? I have a Countryman B3 with 3.5mm locking connection.

A: The compatibility of specific locking 3.5mm connectors varies from brand to brand when attempting to use them with the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder. This largely depends on the connector's locking mechanism being able to move far enough out of the way to allow a full connection to the Rode transmitter input. From our own testing we have found that Countryman B3 microphones with this connection typically work with and are compatible for use with the Rode Wireless GO II.

Q: 4. Will this work well with the Canon EOS M6 Mark II?

A: Yes, the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System/Recorder Kit is compatible for use with and connection to the 1/8" / 3.5 mm TRS Stereo Microphone Input on the Canon EOS M6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera. The Rode receiver has a clip that will fit into the camera's shoe mount if desired.

Q: 5. Can you connect this with the canon xa40 camcorder?

A: Yes, the receiver in the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder can send signal into the audio inputs of the Canon XA40 Professional UHD 4K Camcorder. The system includes a 3.5mm TRS cable for direct connection from the receiver's output to the 3.5 mm TRS stereo microphone input on the camera. A cable adapter could also be used to split the receiver's output for connection to the camera's XLR inputs as an alternative.

Q: 6. Does the receiver mount to a camera hot shoe?

A: The Rode Wireless GO II receiver does not have the ability to interface with a hot shoe, but its clip is the correct size and shape to slot into a standard shoe mount for mounting purposes only.

Q: 7. can I use with the fx9? If so, what cables do I need? Im not getting a level when plugged in.

A: You can use the Kopul adapter BH #KOAXMMF, along with the included TRS Cable in the Rode Wireless Go, to connect into the Sony FX9 camera.

Q: 8. Can i save the internally recorded files to my mobile phone on the go or do I need computer to transfer thr files

Q: 10. can I use this as a mic with my ipad mini by plugging it into the USB-C port?
