The black B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Hardwired 3.5mm Connector for Amplivox Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 3.5mm connector for direct connection to Amplivox S-1600T and S-1690T wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Q: 1. can I use with the fx9? If so, what cables do I need? Im not getting a level when plugged in.

A: You can use the Kopul adapter BH #KOAXMMF, along with the included TRS Cable in the Rode Wireless Go, to connect into the Sony FX9 camera.

Q: 2. Are the batteries in the transmitter and receiver replaceable? Thanks for any information.

A: This is a sealed system, they are not replacable.

Q: 3. I understand this unit is made to accept standard 3.5mm cable. But has anyone tried a lav mic with locking 3.5mm connection? Did it work? I have a Countryman B3 with 3.5mm locking connection.

A: The compatibility of specific locking 3.5mm connectors varies from brand to brand when attempting to use them with the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder. This largely depends on the connector's locking mechanism being able to move far enough out of the way to allow a full connection to the Rode transmitter input. From our own testing we have found that Countryman B3 microphones with this connection typically work with and are compatible for use with the Rode Wireless GO II.

Q: 4. Will it work with Canon R5?

A: Yes, the Rode wireless go II system will connect via 3.5mm jack to the Canon R5 system.

Q: 5. What cable I need to hook up to iPhone 13 ?

A: The Rode SC15 Lightning USB Type-C to Lightning Accessory Cable (BH #ROSC15) can be used to connect the receiver in the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System/Recorder Kit to the iPhone's lightning input connection: https://bhpho.to/3Mcb3lv

Q: 6. How far away from the person speaking can the transmitter be, and still get good sound?

Q: 7. Will this work well with the Canon EOS M6 Mark II?

A: Yes, the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System/Recorder Kit is compatible for use with and connection to the 1/8" / 3.5 mm TRS Stereo Microphone Input on the Canon EOS M6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera. The Rode receiver has a clip that will fit into the camera's shoe mount if desired.

Q: 8. Does the receiver mount to a camera hot shoe?

A: The Rode Wireless GO II receiver does not have the ability to interface with a hot shoe, but its clip is the correct size and shape to slot into a standard shoe mount for mounting purposes only.

Q: 9. Can this be used on an Insta360 RX3?

A: Yes, the RODE Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System/Recorder Kit is compatible for use with the Insta360 X3 Action Camera when using the Insta360 Microphone Adapter for X3 (B&H # IN360X3MA).

Q: 10. Can I buy multiple sets to use for group settings of 4 - 6 people with one receiver unit on the camera?

A: The Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder allows up to 8 mics to be used at once in the same setting, however each receiver can only accommodate two transmitter signals. A scenario with 4-6 microphones/transmitters would require 2-3 receivers.
