The cocoa B2D Directional Lavalier Mic, Medium Gain, with Detachable LEMO 3-Pin Connector Cable for WisyCom Wireless Transmitters from Countryman features a lightweight 0.18-ounce body that was designed to be discreetly mounted and can be used for miking news anchors, actors in a film or theater setting, lecturers in a school or house of worship type environment.

The B2D's tight hypercardioid pattern gives the mic an extra 6-10 dB of headroom compared to an omnidirectional lavalier mic, which means less problems with feedback, ambient noise, room rumble, and phase cancellations when using multiple microphones.

This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. In addition, the B2D lavalier is equipped with a detachable cable that terminates to a LEMO 3-pin connector for direct connection to WisyCom MTP30, MTP40, MTP40S, MTP41, and MTP41S wireless bodypack transmitters.

With its small size and sensitivity options, the B2D can easily hide behind a shirt button. This makes it invisible for film work, theater, live shows, or any other application.

Natural vocal reproduction and a tight polar pattern make the B2D ideal for broadcast and is a dependable workhorse you can count on to perform night after night.

The isolation clips minimize clothing and vibration noise while allowing 360° of rotation for easy positioning of the microphone.

This microphone is tuned to a frequency response that is natural and intelligible at a wide range of distances from the mouth. It delivers wonderful sound quality on the chest (8-10" from the mouth) or towards the collar (3-4").

Medium (red band, -10 dB re W4) for Loud vocals

Q: 1. Will this lavalier clip work for ew112-p G3? Thank you.

A: No, it is the wrong size and will not fit. Neither the clip or windscreens in this accessory kit fit the Sennheiser ME 2, which is the lavalier mic that is included with the ew 112-p G3 system. The Audio-Technica AT8439 lavalier clothing clip (B&H # AUAT8439) is a single clip that is sized to fit any lavalier mic. The WindTech TC-5 Universal Tie Clips (B&H # WITC5) 3-pack are also the correct size. Auray WLF-OLM2-10 Foam Windscreens (B&H # AUWLFOLM210) are designed to fit the ME 2 lavalier.

Q: 2. Will this work with a laptop? Need the adapter MICON-2? Does a laptop have the 1v power on its mic input?

A: The Rode Lavalier requires 2 to 5V of plug-in power for operation. It would be best to use a USB audio interface that has a dedicated mic input with a preamp. The interface can supply the proper amount of power for optimum performance and control of the mic. For the MiCon adapter, use the Rode MiCon 5 Connector for Rode MiCon Microphones - XLR (B&H # ROMICON5) which provides an XLR connector and allows the mic to connect to a standard XLR input. For a very basic interface, you can the Polsen XLR-USB-48 XLR to USB Audio Interface (B&H # POXLRUSB48) which is compatible with Mac and Windows, and no drivers are required. It also features a headphone jack with level control for monitoring and the USB cable is included. Please feel free to contact us by phone or through live chat for further assistance and we can help you to find the best options for your application.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with the Sennheiser EW 100 ENG G4?

A: Yes, this is compatible with the EW100 system transmitters.

Q: 4. will this work with samson qe fitness headset?

A: Hello, Thank you for contacting Samson Technologies. The QE headset will connect into this belt pack along with any of our other headset/ear set microphones with a P3 connection. If you have any other questions or inquiries, please let me know at any time. Best Regards, James

Q: 5. How do I record sound with this mic?

A: Hi,, good question. You see that tiny end there... you would buy the appropriate cord in the length you want to fit the input you choose. The wireless systems do different ends. Probably with a high-end product many opt for a wireless unit. Also, you need phantom power since it has no battery to boost the signal. All that is normal for quality audio. I have a plug in unit that supplies phantom power and I have a battery unit which was $20 I think. Yes, it seems like a lot to worry about. Those wireless units do it all in one. A mic like this can have an xlr end. They make it so you buy the end you want to have for this mic. In my case I have the phantom power in my sony recorder, too. The way to sync camera (poor) audio and recorder audio is with a program such as Red Giant Plural Eyes; that is worth owning. Hope this helped. Good audio to a must. No one wants to listen to poor audio. in school they taught us that audio is the one attribute that must be good or else...

Q: 6. How long is the cable?

A: The Rode Lavalier cable is 4 feet (1.2m)

Q: 7. Will this fit a Sennheiser MZH 3042?

A: The microphone capsules (ME-34, 35 and 36) are larger than 1/4" so this foam will not fit. This will fit: Sennheiser MZW34 Velour Windscreen for ME34 and ME35 Microphones B&H # SEMZW34: https://bhpho.to/36yMABp

Q: 8. Will this fit a sanken cos11 b

A: Yes. The mic clips included in the Auray Lavalier Deluxe Accessory Kit (Medium) are compatible for use with the Sanken COS-11D, and the foam and furry windscreen should fit when placed over the mic's mesh windscreen.

Q: 9. I currently own the Samson Go Mic Mobile system with the Q8 handheld mic. Can I use two of the LM8 Lavalier packs with the receiver that I already have? Or do I need to purchase the Dual Channel Lav System?

A: The Samson Go Mic Mobile reciever will allow for two transmitters, so you can add this body pack and lav to your system in additon to the Q8 handheld transmitter for a two channel system.

Q: 10. Can it work with 2 handheld mic?Can it work with 2 handheld and 2 lavalier mic?

A: The Samson Go Mic Mobile allows for six total transmitters (handheld beltpack lav/headset)to be used across three complete systems.
