The black B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Hardwired LEMO 4-Pin Connector for Beyerdynamic Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a LEMO 4-pin connector for direct connection to Beyerdynamic TS 316, TS 400, and TS 600 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it possible to connect more than two transmitters to the same receiver?

A: No. Only two transmitters can be connected to the receiver for the RODE Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder.

Q: 2. If you are using the system to feed audio into a computer without recording (think Zoom webinar), how long do the batteries last?

A: The receiver in the Rode Wireless GO II Single 1-Person Compact Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System/Recorder Kit should charge and receive USB bus power while connected to a computer and acting as an audio interface for use with software programs such as Zoom. The receiver battery should not be subject to failure or power loss as long as the receiver is connected over USB.

Q: 3. Can this unit record on split channels? For instance Mic 1 on channel 1 and Mic two on channel 2?

A: Yes! In Stereo mode, the receiver splits Mic 1 to Left and Mic two to Right. In Mono mode, it mixes them together.

Q: 4. Are the batteries in the transmitter and receiver replaceable? Thanks for any information.

A: This is a sealed system, they are not replacable.

Q: 5. I understand this unit is made to accept standard 3.5mm cable. But has anyone tried a lav mic with locking 3.5mm connection? Did it work? I have a Countryman B3 with 3.5mm locking connection.

A: The compatibility of specific locking 3.5mm connectors varies from brand to brand when attempting to use them with the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder. This largely depends on the connector's locking mechanism being able to move far enough out of the way to allow a full connection to the Rode transmitter input. From our own testing we have found that Countryman B3 microphones with this connection typically work with and are compatible for use with the Rode Wireless GO II.

Q: 6. Can i save the internally recorded files to my mobile phone on the go or do I need computer to transfer thr files

A: You will need a computer.

Q: 7. How can you record 2 separate tracks on zoom h6 with rode II?

A: The stereo output of the receiver in the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder can be split into two separate outputs into the Zoom H6 with a cable such as the Hosa Technology Pro Stereo Breakout Cable - 3.5mm Stereo Mini to Dual 3-Pin XLR Male (BH #HOHMX003Y): https://bhpho.to/35ybzKE

Q: 8. What quality Lav mics can be used with this system? Sennheiser locking ones need an adpater- can someone post a SKU/Product for that adapter? Or some alternatives to the Rode ones which are on back order

A: You can use any 1/8'' microphone that requires mic plugin power like B&H # TRTR50BNLSET or B&H # MIMSLM

Q: 9. Can the Wireless GO II be used in the same room as the original Wireless Go? Will they automatically select different 2.4GHz channels?

A: Yes you can use the Rode Wireless Go II in the same room as the Rode Wireless Go. The systems have frequency agility built into them to avoid interference with each other.

Q: 10. Where can I find a user manual? The quick start guide is worthless.

A: Rode has a detailed user guide for the Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder available on their website. Here is a link: https://rode.com/en/user-guides/wireless-go-ii
