A: The answer to your question is no this battery cannot be calibrated I called Watson and they supplied with this answer. When I bought this battery it was only for a backup I don't use it full time, every so often I will recharge it. It fills the need for what I needed and the price was right.

I tried another third-party brand which I understood to have a good reputation. It didn't seem to make a consistent, reliable connection inside my battery grip. Rather than giving up, I tried this Watson battery from B&H. It works just fine and I am very pleased. 5

So far, the battery pack seems to be working well. I bought it for my D3s and after the first charge, it's indicating 100%. I've not used it long enough to determine how long it will last . 5

I recently bought a used Nikon D3 off my aunt that was my uncle's camera that he used for weddings and sports photography when he was still alive. I wasn't certain of how well his batteries for the camera held up over the past 14 years almost so I bought a couple of these batteries because they fit my budget better than the Nikon branded ones and I love them I get almost 2k worth of shots on a single charge!! 5

I use this battery as a back-up to my Nikon battery EN-EL4a rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery Pack. I always use my original Nikon battery but if I am out in the field and my Nikon battery goes down after many shots, I then switch to the the Watson EN-EL4A Lithium-Ion Battery Pack as my back-up until I can re-charge the Nikon battery again at home. I find it's more economical using it that way since there is such a big price difference between the Nikon Battery and the Watson Battery. However the Watson battery is a very good battery and reliable in every way. 5
