Awesome background! Ordered the magnetic, air-cushioned background by Ladtolite as well which made the set up SUPER easy and quick!!

I use this as a backdrop for a documentary I'm shooting. It doesn't reflect light when I have my lights positioned correctly and comes out a true black on screen. I often fly to location and this folds up light and compact for travel. It only took me two times to learn how to fold it up!

I purchased this background for use in headshots and other portraits, particularly when quick set-up is necessary. This is wonderful product. The background is well made, and is easy to fold out and fold up. It isn't creaseless, but it resists creases fairly well when opened out.

I purchased this for location head-shots and it is exactly what I was looking for. It has allowed me to ditch the light stands and 5' roll, so I can now carry my set up with. It sets up instantly and is sturdy enough to lean against a wall. It isn't exactly wrinkle free, but set at a distance of 4-5 feet behind the subject this hardly matters.

Fantastically useful for portraits through 3/4 shots and portable as well. Absolutely love Lastolite products--every single one of them is super quality and creative and reliably solid. This is no exeception.

I video tape legal depositions and use the Lastolite for background. Because its collapsible, I can carry all of my gear into the court or law office in one trip.

This is my third 5x6 background from Lastolite. Their products aren't cheap, but they hold up very well. The spring steel is strong. The stitching and the stretchy fabrics work well. Unlike many folding backgrounds, the folding is pretty easy. Even the carrying case is well made.

I bought this background for location headshots so I wouldn't have to set up a seamless. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it the first time and it popped open with no wrinkles. The white side can be used as a background or reflector. The gray side is neutral and can be used for white balance. It has ties on the long sides to attach to light stands.

I wanted a mobile backdrop that was solidly built. I got it! This backdrop was perfect for the professional head shots that I needed it for. I will definitely be purchasing different colors and styles in the future!

While I've been using collapsible reflectors for quite awhile now, this is the first collapsible background I've owned. It's perfect for shooting up to 3/4 length portraits of single subjects. The subject can be posed several feet in front of the background leaving room for a background light while keeping your subject lighting off the background if so desired. If shooting in landscape mode, the background can be rotated horizontally allowing two subjects to be framed up quite nicely. Another great feature is that this product provides either a clean white or a middle gray as background options. Just last week I put it to use as a large front reflector while doing a group shot in the studio. The only downside is that with the quality build comes weight. All in all, a versatile product that should prove useful in many situatons over a long period of time.
