The Bescor WAFFLE 176-Bulb On-Camera LED Light, Battery, Charger, and AC Adapter Kit features a compact fixture measuring 5.75 x 3.75 x 1.5" with a 5600K daylight balance and a high CRI of 95 to indicate advanced capability in color rendition. The light is dimmable from 10 to 99%. The WAFFLE runs on the included AC adapter, but it can also run on the included NP-F battery (with charger) when AC power is unavailable.

A: The LED array in the Bescor LED-200K Twin 300W Kit are not user-replaceable. The unit would have to be sent back to the manufacturer if the LED array requires replacement.

Q: 2. Is it possible to buy additional light filters for this? Specifically darker ones. These are almost too bright at their lowest setting for my night photography project.

A: Unfortunately, we don't have more filters that would be able to be attached to the light.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with Canon 70D? It’s not listed so thought I should check.

A: Yes. The Bescor LPE6 Battery, Charger, Coupler & AC Adapter Kit for Select Canon Cameras is compatible with the Canon Eos 70D.

Q: 4. can these be powered by batteries? if so what kind?

A: Yes, the units are actually a 12 volt system. Any 12 volt Bescor system (SLM5, MM7, FP12VATM) w/ a CLC 200 cord will run the light.-Bescor

A: LED lights work a bit differently when it comes to watts as a basis of brightness, but according to the photometrics, at 3900K this light will be the equivalent of 250W tungsten equivalent.

A: They have filters that can be placed in front of the direct LEDs so the light is softer. They are also dimmable. I would say yes, but be cautious in placing them the correct distance to reduce glare.

I bought this to shoot my first wedding and it was great! I was worried that the lighting would be too dim so I made this purchase. I would make this purchase again and again. This light has a dimmer which was great when people started squinting everytime the camera was pointed at them. This is definitely a quality light and I would recommend it to anyone in the business. 5

Cheep. very easy to use, bright, variable. Good on Camera EFP/ENG light. This is the second one that i have acquired. Fits in my camera kit. It out preforms lights costing much more. 5
