Power your camera or other pro video equipment with the CUE-H90 90Wh Compact Li-Ion V-Mount Battery from IDX System Technology. The battery can supply up to 16.8 VDC to the plate, and it can also provide up to 80W to power accessories through the integrated D-Tap output. CUE-H90 batteries feature a nominal voltage of 14.8 VDC, a maximum output voltage of 16.8 VDC, and a maximum 7A draw.

CUE-H-series batteries feature an even higher capacity than their CUE-D predecessor while maintaining the same internal pack design that isolates it for reliability and safety. There is also built-in prevention of overcharging, overdischarging, or overcurrent. IDX CUE-H90 batteries should be charged using IDX-branded chargers; third-party chargers may not charge CUE-H90 batteries correctly.

Q: 1. Just confirming that this high capacity battery will still work with my Sony PMW 350 and is compatible with the Sony XDCA -FS7 adapter? Thank you.

A: Both the battery and adapter should work just fine for what you want to do.

Q: 2. Can anyone using the Litepanels Astra bi color chime in on this battery on it? I have a the Astra and find it shuts down quite soon. Would love to hear other experiences. thanks!

A: The D150 works great for my (original) Astra Bi-Color. Maybe about 90 minutes of run time at high power.

Q: 3. Can this charge other v-mount battery brands?

A: Yes, this charger will allow you to charge other brands of V-Mount batteries. It will work with batteries beyond the IDX brand.

Q: 4. Can this battery power the RED Epic-W without Harm?

A: The main issue of compatibility of the use of non-OEM batteries centers around information passed back and forth between the camera and battery regarding power level. We therefore feel no harm to either device will occur. However, battery power levels are unlikely to be indicated in camera. Since we do not sell RED products, we advise that you proceed at your own risk.

Q: 5. I got an IDX JL-2PLUS charger. Can I charge the Endura Cue through its (JL-2+) 4pin out and into the D-Tap of the battery?

A: The d-tap on the IDX System Technology CUE-D75 as we understand is power out only. We do not list any but V-mount chargers as being compatible. In general, for the best performance and longest battery life, stay in the family and use chargers that match the battery.

Q: 6. Is it OK to charge this with the Core dual-position v-mount charger?

A: Yes, I have dual charger and work fine

Q: 7. If purchased separately the charger is 299 and the battery 189 for a total of 488. Is there something different about the kit that explains the price difference?

A: The price difference was due to the fact the charger was on a special price of $299. It is now back to it's regular price of $441.00. Q: 8. Can the charger be used to power the Ursa Mini via 4 pin XLR cable? Loos like this charger puts out 14V+ and the Ursa Mini power supply provides only 12V

A: You should be able to use the charger in this Battery Kit as a power supply for the Ursa Mini. You would just need the proper XLR cable, such as B&H #BEXLR10MF.

This is an excellent battery that I depend on to run 1x1 Astra LED lights in the field. It has the power to run the light at 100% brightness, and lasts around 90-120 minutes. 5

First off I want to say that this is an AWESOME battery. I just received it a couple of weeks ago from B&H and wanted to run a test to just see how long it would go 'non-stop' powering my Sony PXW FS5 and my Atomos Shogun. I film dance recitals that go literally for hours non stop. Last year I filmed a dance recital that was over 6 hours non stop. I went through all of my batteries and ended up plugging into the A/C outlet to power my FS5 rig and my Atomos Shogun. It was a pain trying to re set everything back up. Anyway, After running a test the other day on the CUE-D300 it was still going after 10 hours and I ran out of hard drive space on my Atomos Shogun which is a 1TB HD. According to the little battery reading levels on the side of the CUE-D300 I think it would have gone another 3-4 hours easily. If you are really serious about filming time 'non stop' then this one is a no-brainer. I just wish I had bought it sooner. It would have eliminated a lot of headaches. Buy it today!! 5

This is the second D-300 I purchased from B&H. I film very long events and run my Atomos Shogun and my Sony Fs5 off of it at the same time. This battery will run for right at around 11-12 hours non stop while recording both camera and Shogun. I always like to have a back up just in case but I do cycle the batteries in and out. These IDX batteries are the best on the market and believe me, I have tried every brand out there after being in the video and film business for over 40 years now. You better purchase before they go out of stock again because B&H sells a lot of them. 5

These batteries aren't cheap. But at least they're a lot less than a comparable one used to be. They last through hundreds of recharges. Well - maybe dozens. Works great for camera rigs, probably not the best choice to power lights. 5

This battery is only a little bit heavier than the 91wh version but is the same size. Pretty hard to match the price especially when considering it's a brand name battery. Chargers in no time on the IDX VL-2000S charger. 5

We use this with our JVC HM750 camera. So far we have only used it a couple of times, but it is great to be able to go most of, if not all of, the day with just one battery. Very happy with it. 5
