The Saramonic SR-WM2100 is a compact, camera-mount digital wireless microphone system with two lavalier mics and just one receiver. It provides vloggers, mobile journalists, and videographers with a clear-sounding, easy-to-use system that packs a set of versatile features into a cost-effective solution for interviews, vlogging, live streaming, and virtual meetings with two people talking simultaneously—directly to a mirrorless/DSLR camera or an iOS/Android smartphone/tablet equipped with a headphone jack.

The SR-WM2100 includes two bodypack transmitters, each with their own omnidirectional lavalier mics. The transmitters feature a line-level input that lets you wirelessly record the output of a smartphone, audio mixer, or portable recorder to your camera—great for live streaming.

The system also comes with a camera-mount receiver that features a gain control to adjust the recording level on your camera. A headphone jack lets you monitor the audio from both transmitters in real time. Equipped with an auto-scan function, the receiver automatically searches and finds a clean transmission frequency to avoid unwanted dropouts. Large, movable antennas and a 5mW RF output power on the transmitters help deliver clear audio at a range up to 230' (line-of-sight). For fast setup time, the transmitters automatically pair with the receiver.

The system conveniently operates on AA batteries so you don't have to remember to charge it before using it. You get approximately 20 hours of continuous use on fully charged batteries. Up to four SR-WM2100 systems can be deployed simultaneously in the same location if more audio channels are needed.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a specific settings for the Sony A7c or simply connect and it works ?

A: No on the Sony make sure you go into the audio settings and manually adjust mic sensitivity to like -6 ot -8

Q: 2. If I buy the model with the 3.5 connector for my camera can I use a 3.5 to Lightning adapter to also use it with my iPhone 8 or a 3.5 to USB-C adapter to connect it to my MacBook?

A: Yes, you can use the Saramonic LC-C35 for Lightning to you iPhone and the UTC-C35 for USB-C to your MacBook, BUT FYI, you can also just plug in the included TRRS cable into the headphone port on your MacBook too. We hope you enjoy it!

Q: 3. Can you set the frequency? I'm concerned if I have two sets of these, they might interfere with each other.

A: They set automatically. You can have up to 18 dual systems in a single area. Having two sets in an area will be without any issue. Just be sure to have the receivers at least 1-2 feet apart if possible for best results. If that is not an option try to have at least 6 inches between them.

Q: 4. I have an iPhone 15 pro max which requires a usb-c connector, which adapter do I need to purchase for the receiver?

A: The Saramonic SR-WM2100 2-Person Camera-Mount Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System for Cameras and Smartphones (2.4 GHz) can be connected to an iPhone 15 using a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter such as B&H # APMU7E2AMA.

Q: 5. Can the receiver be used while plugged into power?

A: No, the receiver's battery needs to be charged in order to function.

Q: 6. Can you split one transmitter to one receiver and the other transmitter to the other receiver?

A: Yes, you can split the Saramonic SR-WM2100 X 2-Person Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System into two systems and use one transmitter with one receiver and the second transmitter with the second receiver.

Q: 7. Can this be connected to a Mac for streaming and recording a lecture?

A: Yes, you can connect the Saramonic SR-WM2100 2-Person Camera-Mount Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System to a computer for streaming and recording audio. We recommend using a USB audio interface to connect to the computer via USB. You can use a very basic interface like the Audio-Technica Consumer ATR2x-USB 3.5mm to USB 2.0 Type-C Audio Adapter (B&H # AUATR2XUSB). Use the 3.5mm TRS cable that is included with the wireless mic system to connect the output from the receiver to the input on the interface and use the headphone output on the interface for monitoring the audio while streaming and/or recording.

Q: 8. Can i use this as well as my rode mic on the hot shoe?

A: That would depend on which Rode microphone you have, and what you are truly asking in the question. If you were asking if you can plug a Rode microphone into the transmitter: Yes, If you have a Rode lavalier, or even a shotgun microphone that terminates 3.5mm it work with the transmitter. You're asking if you can use your Rode microphone and the Blink 500 system into your camera simultaneously: You will need some kind of mixer, such as the Saramonic SR-PAX1, or the SR-AX100. But keep in mind the SR-AX100 is only for battery powered microphones, it has no pre-amplification. If you want pre-amplification, the Saramonic SR-PAX1 is a much better bet. I hope that helps.

Q: 9. I need to connect to an iPhone 13. Which adapter do I need?

A: To use the Saramonic SR-WM2100 2-Person Camera-Mount Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System for Cameras and Smartphones (2.4 GHz) with an iPhone 13 you need this adapter, BH #APLAADAP (https://bhpho.to/49ln8zA).

Q: 10. Can you purchase xlr cables over a phono jack?

A: For the output you can easily convert the 3.5mm to XLR with an inexpensive XLR adapter, like the Saramonic C-XLR. Or if you'd like a cable you can use the Saramonic SR-UM10-C35XLR, it has a locking 3.5 mm connector but that will not impede you using it with the SR-WM2100 receiver. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1540721-REG/saramonic_c_xlr_3_5mm_trs_female_to_xlr_male.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1443722-REG/saramonic_sr_um10_c35xlr_replacement_locking_type_3_5mm_to.html
