The Claw Quick Release Set (Generation II) from Ulanzi is a compact but versatile quick release plate and receiver set with a load capacity of 110 pounds. The plate features a 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw and a rubberized base for camera traction and to resist marring the camera finish.

The Claw receiver has a plate release button and a sliding lock switch for optimal security. The base of the receiver features Arca-type dovetail grooves for compatibility with tripod heads and other devices. The base also has seven 1/4"-20 threaded sockets to provide a variety of tripod, bracket, and camera rig mounting options.

Having a few of these quick release receiver's make it so easy for my to move my camera when I need to reposition to a different mounting point such as my Tripod, monopod or desktop tripod. 5

This is the 4th Ulanzi Claw Quick Release that I have purchased and they are super high quality and make switching cameras and tripods in the field quick and effortless. I also use the Ulanzi U-100 Claw Quick Release Ball Head and the Fast Claw Clip on my Backpack. I occasionally have to use a little bit of oil for the springs but that is a given if you want these quick release systems to function without fail. I have tried many different products and these by far are the best. Ulanzi is a great company and they have many high quality products at very reasonable prices. 5

I purchased my first Claw Quick Release set in the summer of 2022 to swap a GoPro and Sony ZV1 on some tripods. After a few months of use, I purchased a few more for my other cameras, tripods, hand grips, lights, & sound gear. After using several of these mounts for more than a year, I have swapped out almost all of my quick release mounts to the Claw Quick release. I've had good luck with this system on my Sony A7R4, A7C, ZV-1, GoPro Heros, Insta360 and other equipment. 5
