A better solution is to use the newer smaller D-Tap batteries and use the Pix accessory, Video Devices Coaxial DC Plug to D-Tap Power Cable , listed under Pix E power accessories. Yiu could also take the Pix connector end off your AC power brick, and have a 4-pin XLR connected to it, and the female 4-pin XLR connected to the brick side (where you cut the coaxial connector off), so yiu can still use the AC power supply. If yiu are not familiar with how power cables are wired on XLRs, get a A/V repair service to do this for you. The 4-pin power XLR connectors only use two pins, (not all four at the same time) one set is for 6-VDC connections and the other two are for 12-14 DC connections. You need to meter the connector on your battery pack to see which two and the correct polarity (which pin is + and which is ground/negative connectors.
