Compatible with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, and Vista, this software download of Laplink DiskImage helps protect your system against unforeseen data loss by creating a 1:1 disk image copy of your applications, files, and settings. Once your disk image is created, you'll be able to easily restore your system in the event it becomes damaged due to corruption, virus, hackers, or malware. You'll also be able to restore your image to a new build with different hardware using the Hardware Independent Restore features.

Disk images can be stored on optical or external media, while a built-in scheduler can be used to create full or incremental system images, even while your system is in use. Furthermore, DiskImage can be used to create a physical boot CD, which lets you repair and restore your system in the event that your operating system won't start.

Please note that booting from a physical CD requires 1GB of RAM. Also, a network connection is required to download and register this software.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this come with USB cable?

A: The PCmover Professional 11- 1 User Download, does not come with a USB cable as this item is software that will download onto the purchasers computer rather than a physical item that would be shipped; compatible USB cables and Ethernet cables are available separately for purchase, or the software can be used wirelessly for transfering data to a second computer.

Q: 2. SMPTE in and/or out? Will this work with The Tentacle Devices?

A: The Zoom H4E does not have SMPTE in or out. It will work with Tentacle Sync devices.

Q: 3. Do I need to use a computer to take advantage of the 32-bit float option, to normalize the audio?

A: Normalization is possible on the Zoom H1essential 2-Track 32-Bit Float Portable Audio Recorder without the use of a computer.

Q: 4. How much record time do you get with a 256 GB microSDSX card?

A: 32-bit float audio files do take up about 33% more storage than 24-bit files; using a 256GB microSDXC card with the Zoom H4essential 4-Track 32-Bit Float Portable Audio Recorder will provide you with approximately 85 hours of recording time.

Q: 5. I have installed most of what I need on my new build. However, my old build has several apps and a fair number of drives and directories (data) to be moved. Is it possible on Laplink to chose individual programs at a time, on different drives and directories between 2 Win 10 machines? (Both 64bit) ie. a program on the C: drive of "Old Win 10" machine to the E: drive on "New Win 10" machine. And all of Drive G: on Old to a directory on Drive I: of New?

A: Not all apps will be compatible. Any apps that are not compatible would have to be moved manually.

Q: 6. Should I download to the new PC or the old one?

A: The software is installed on both the new and the old system.

Q: 7. Can the 1/8-inch (3.5mm) mic/line input be used simultaneously with the two xlr inputs? (IE: with a Rode Wireless Go II kit)

A: Yes, the Zoom H4essential 4-Track 32-Bit Float Portable Audio Recorder can be set to 4-track mode, which enables the use of both its 3.5mm stereo mic input and both combo jack inputs at the same time.

Q: 8. I'm going to install an SSD, and want to transfer only my Win10 OS to the SSD. is this a good choice for migration software?

A: Laplink PCmover Professional 11 is meant for moving files, not migrating OS.

Q: 9. Can the 1/8-inch (3.5mm) mic/line input be used simultaneously with the onboard XY mics to record 4 channels? I assume not

A: The Zoom H4essential, being a 4-track audio recorder can record from the onboard 2 X-Y mics, as well as the 2 external mic inputs on the bottom at the same time.

Q: 10. Is there any reason to buy Zoom F3 over the Zoom H4 Essential?

A: The Zoom F3 is a field recorder that is much more appropriate for ENG and Film audio, whereas the Zoom H6Essential is a handheld recorder. It really comes down to if you want to have on-board microphones or not, though. The units will operate the same way when used regardless.

I recently upgraded from an older zoom to this 32-bit float recorder and it has truly been a blessing. Having 32 bit float at this price is awesome. I have also found that the turn on speed and menu navigation is a lot faster with this newer version. I highly recommend this product and it is definitely an upgrade from older zoom models in my opinion.

I had the older H1n. The main feature or the H1essential is the 32-bit float. The screen is smaller than the H1n, but is still sharp. Personally I would have like to have the same size screen. The USB connections is now USB-C and the 1/4-20 has a metal insert. The recorder will accept SDXC cards up to 1 TB. There is a mic/line in jack. You can record with the included mics, with a lavalier or connect to a separate device. i.e. connecting to the DJ's board to record audio. If you need XLR input jacks, you will need to upgrade the the H4esential.
