A nice close up lens set- however the threads are cut very sharply, so if they do not come off easily or apart from each other easily- get a pair of filter wrenches as the threads will slice your skin. 5

I bought this kit as an introduction to macro photography. Not sure what I would be looking for in a macro lens I tried these as an experiment. WOW - I was surprised, my expectations were limited and the tiffen close up kits really performed better than I expected. This kit is very worth while, compact, easy to carry around and great quality. 5

for anyone wanting to do close-up work without the expense of an expensive lens, this set-up will do the trick. Easy to get a combination of magnifications, and gives good results/w added light. 5

I use these close-up lens on my canon450d in combination with two lenses and also with an extension tube set.The various combos give me a fantastic range of options to shoot great close-up(s) in difficult conditions ie;where a tripod is useless and under difficult light constraints. 5
