It is a compact flash that can be used both indoors and outdoors.

I can easily carry three in my kit, which is even more compact and lightweight.

I ordered this extra battery for my AD100pro to have on hand just in case I was busy in a session and ran low on battery life.
I am impressed with the quality of Godox's products and can't complain.

This little thing is perfect for travel, a nice little add in to my travel kit. Easy to throw on a stand and works great as a fill, in some cases a good key for smaller on the go portraits. I'll definitely be getting another one soon.

Holds a charge for days of regular shooting. Under heavier shooting conditions, I expect it would last a full day. Which is why I have two of these!

Had a couple of mis fires, but overall really do love the little light! Compact and not bulk at all. Good on the go!

This might be my second review here for this light, long story short - B&H covered a brand new replacement for this light under their 2-year warranty. My original AD100 from March 2022 shipped with the bad front element (slightly green tint). I called B&H asking if I could buy a new element and they told me they're just going to replace the unit for me. Amazing customer service!

That aside, this is still my go-to light. It's the size of a lens, goes forever, and it's plenty powerful for my use case (even outdoors). If you need to light medium or large groups you'll of course want more power / additional lights, AD300 or higher. But this little guy is amazing. Comes with a nice hard case, stand mount, charger etc. I recommend picking up Godox's accessory kit, which includes barn doors, snoot, honeycomb grid, some gels, and a few other things. All are magnetic and pop right onto the flash instantly. Will likely add another AD100 in the future.

This is my second Godox AD100Pro and it's a great little flash. I love the power which is more than a speed light. I use my two AD100Pros by themselves or with my two Godox AD200Pros for an awesome four light setup. It has a modeling light, but it isn't really bright enough unless you're in a totally dark room. Battery life is very good and keeps up with the AD200s. I love that this is about the size of a soda can, it fits in a lens pocket in my bag so I always have a light with me. The Godox remotes work very well providing complete manual control, or full TTL. A nice crossover between a speed light and a larger monolight.

I bought this after watching a lot of Godox videos on YouTube. They do a very good job of positioning their products. I was stuck trying to decide between just using my flashes, getting an AD200 or buying this. Ultimately, I grabbed this little unit and have now shot about 300 shots with it over two shoots (I am using it as a rimlite sitting inside a Bowens mount modifier when I shoot in small spaces) and I love it.
There was a time when I couldn't afford to buy the big name lights and bought Godox as a necessity (including buying an extra or two while expecting failures - though I have had only one quit on me after buying 18 Godox lights/flashes). I can afford basically whatever lights I want now and stick with Godox because in addition to still keeping their pricing sane - they have actually become a manufacturer of very good lights. Beyond loving this light I am now turning into a big lover of Godox in general. Hard to go wrong - just make sure you are selecting the right light for the job.
